  1. Sorry for the delay. No radio controls... Horn did fail around 10 years ago so could be a clock spring issue. Do you have any write ups on testing clock springs? Thanks
  2. Hi.mopar man Both batteries are new after the first incident. It's odd how both fobs de sync at the same time. I've not seen much on CTMs dying.. I've also done some visual wiring checks all looks good. Think my clock spring has died also as my cruise doesn't work anymore
  3. Well strange one. Owned my 24v since new, no matter how long it's been parked sometimes years with disconnected batteries. They key fobs have always worked and the truck started no problem. Twice in the last 6 months my key fobs have stopped working and needed to be re coded to work and allow the truck to start! I didn't know this truck had any type of security immobiliser on it! My ram is 99 with the sport package. Does this sound like a CTM issue? If so are they plug and play? Or do they require coding? Can I remove the factory immobiliser? Thanks for any help 🙏 I'm in the UK so it's hard work getting parts over here.
  4. Started gathering parts for my compound set up. I'm about to order stainless for the piping. I was going to go with 3 inch diameter. What wall thickness is everyone else using ? Cheers
  5. My truck did the same thing on one caliper.. I cleaned, re-greased the pins and fitted a new rubber bushing no problem since ?‍♂️

  9. Hi I'm going through the front end on my 99 24v 4x4, I want to replace the hub ball joints. Ball joints on my truck seem to be in the hub/carrier rather than the axle. Has anyone got the part numbers for the correct ones? And what brands do you guys recommend. I live over seas and dont want stuff that's going to fail early, also being in the UK returning the wrong parts is costly ?? Thanks
  10. Changed the converter, LU is perfect again! Had to go with a DPC converter through firepunk as no one could match the shipping price.. 310USD was delivered in a week to the UK ????
  11. @kzimmer I've checked wiring between trans and PCM. PCM is commanding LU according to scanner... yes someone has posted similar symptoms above to me and it turned out to be converter. I was never happy with the converter when it was delivered to the UK looked pretty beat up. Looks like a 2k bill coming up ? @IBMobile would your converter lock up occasionally without the switch? ive just exhausted pretty much everything I can think of now. Only issue I can see is trans connector not seating fully but it has been like this for around 2 years and I never had this problem previously.
  12. I have had this issue for around 6 months or so. I will start from the beginning... Rebuilt transmission 1 year ago. 5-6 months later no lock up. Tested alternator Cleaned grounds Monitored transmission via snap on scanner Wired in lock up switch Added noise isolator Tested continuity on lock up cable to PCM. Tested apps Changed VB Changed solenoids Changed OSS Tested brake light switch All came back good Trans doesn't slip TC when it was locking didnt slip at all TC would lock up only if coasting whilst feathering throttle around 5% tps input. it would lock flick the lock up switch and it would stay locked Flick the switch and coast it would eventually lock up and stay locked We had a our first frost friday night saturday TC wont lock at all no matter what.. Done the ATS apps re wire today made no difference other than throwing p0121 code tonight. I'm at a complete loss the only issue I can find is the 8 pin connector on the trans doesn't seat all the way down but this has been like this for the last 2 years no issue.. I have now ordered a connector to replace that. Does anyone have any further suggestions? Anyone give me a list of problems that will cause a no lock up situation. Does this sound like the TC may be toast even though when it did lock it wouldn't slip at all? Do I buy a standalone controller if so what one is recommended. Thank you

  14. @Bullet well what a review I'm pretty much sold! ? Im going to go on their site and pray they can ship a kit to the UK ? I already have an s300 based small turbo similar specs to yours so hopefully that should save some money. Also what kind of waste gate is fitted to your manifold charger if you don't mind me asking?   15. Who here runs compounds?? I'm looking for reviews on pipe kits or complete kits for s300 over s400 set up. Also injector sizes. Any reviews much appreciated. CCP seem to be able to supply a kit for good money but I've heard a lot of horror stories about ordering from them! Thanks

  17. I still have my TC lock up issue so this morning I thought I would check my apps voltages. 0.314 at idle climbs perfectly but max voltage is 3.46 at 100% throttle I believe this is too low?? The quad is showing 100% throttle. Any input would be greatly appreciated guys
  18. I'm not worried about it being lazy I'm just worried about it not spooling up at all ? I can go for larger injectors no problem. I have read few people running s400 frame chargers on VP trucks and making them work but they tend to have smaller intake to this but larger exhaust turbine surely the smaller exhaust turbine would aid spool up?
  19. I have ended up with a 71/71/15 non wastegated t4 k29 borgwarner turbo. Anyone on here ever run one? I assume it's to small to run in a compound set up. But I'm wondering how it would run as a single ? Truck is purely a street truck that gets used on weekends I dont ever tow with my truck maybe once or twice a year only light loads.
  20. I've changed the canbus fueling I've put the truck back to stock no change in my TC lock up issue.

  22. It effects the TC lock up but only via throttle input. I've removed the quad and it made zero difference its deffinatly something in the trans
  23. But shouldn't TC lock on the switch and not unlock until the switch is turned off??
  24. Strange one I posted recently about not getting lock up when I should, put it down to the quad. I changed the tune slightly that journey TC locked perfect throughout. Next day truck was same as before not locking up at all at times. Fitted a mystery switch. TC will only lock up if I flick the switch and back off the throttle once locked it holds perfectly. To unlock I flick the switch off and have to release the throttle again? Anyone shed any light into this? Oh and the TC will lock on under acceleration if the switch is on and at WOT... I've checked the switch circuit tested good and checked down to pin 7 on the trans. When I rebuilt this box I didn't change the wiring or solenoids so I have ordered these to change as they are original. I done the GM solenoid upgrade that DNJ sell, shift kit, firepunk stage 2 internals with a triple disc. This issue really only started when the quad was installed but it seems even with the box on 0 I still have an issue. What inputs are needed to lock the converter ? Speed sensor or anything like that?
  25. I've bumped my timing to above stock headbolts like OP etc my truck loves it faster much lower EGTs etc these safe enough to DD and get loud pedal to the floor? Cheers
