  3. ok so heres a up date i didnt have to to get it apart but i did jack up the rear checked both wheels spun they did and i slowly started applying the parking break in small amounts and the passenger side locked down a pretty good amount before the drivers i had to get the brake set most of the way before the drivers side locked. then when i relaesed the park brake the passenger side is still hard to turn i checked the cables and they both move freely. what do you all gather from this?

  5. humm ok ill have to look at my local parts store sence all i have acess to is penatrating oil and chain lube --- Update to the previous post... which way would i turn the adjuster tru the back plate to loosen it

  7. napa # 2790 got it :thumb1:ill be cheackin in to one when im do a filter again. how are y guys securing them to the finder well or are you just letting the set there
  8. i did see on the artical on here the napa part number but it also gave a couple diff napa numbers which on would go directly on my truck from napa
  9. ok thanks it seem itd be much mor cost effe ctive for a bhaf in staed of spending $300 on a cold air kit when i could put that mony in to a fass or airdog so i can runn a smarty

  11. how do you go about doing that? also if i get under neath and watch i can watch the shaft comming out the bottom move from side to side when turning the sterring wheel back and forth its the stock box with 160k on it also the seal is starting to leak

  13. ive been seeing on here alot of people running a BHAF. what exactly is this, what are the advantages of running one? sorry if this is a dumb question but i havent ever heard of this
  14. from allthe replys on here i think ill stick with my plan of a leveling kit and new modle wheels :hyper:sadly i gota wait just a little while to get sme money cause im :broke:at the moment and i am having trouble locating the wheels locally oh and a new sterring box so i dont look drunk:lmao:

  16. not yet ive not had the chance yet got too much at once going on at home but i did notice that if i set my park brake it dont release as soon as i pop it it waits a couple seconds
  17. ive not had any death wobble probs either but driving straight is a pain due to my steering box is gone plan on replacing soon but im:broke:right now
  18. id go ahead and put the new pump on and try it it want tear any thing up if it off a tooth but itll run bad then pull the frunt if this happens like thats already been said u might have not moved it and i know id be :banghead:if i pulled the whole frunt cover for nothing

  21. i will asap that is when weather gets beter its been warm here right untill i get ready to put some time in my truck and it turns of rainy and cold just my luck:doh: i do know this is the side i had to replace the wheel seal and bearings do to prevous owner over tighting:banghead: and my dad cleaned the drum and pads with brake parts cleaner while i ran all over finding parts:ahhh:as no one place here had them all i had to go to 4 dif places to get them but then when we got it back to geather he tightend the brakes back up cause we had to loosen them to get the drumm off i wonder if he got them to tight is there a way to back the off a lil whit out removing the drum
  22. im not sure what effects just plugging the line will have:shrug:id assume itd give more boost but idk what or if theres a negative to it, ive seen several truck drivers running cats do this and run for ever. personally i wouldnt want to do mine that way id do it right with a boost elbow or by a stiffer waste gate spring or adjustable waste gate to me rigging is a :nono:but some one with better knowlage:smart: maby able to shine a light on this
