  1. Is it really worth 3 grand to have the 5600 fail again
  2. It is a so its the small. My clutch is smoked ( did that tryin to get out of traffic when it locked up) i love the 5600 but ive been hearin horror stories of how the 5600 isnt lasting due to lack of parts plus ive been unable to fond a 5600 that i dont have to up grade every thing to accept the 1 3/8 input shaft

Ok thanks sounds good i think ill be ok on mounting to the cross member my cross member has another set of mount holes in it looks to be for the 4500 of course ill prob have to buy the 4500 mount tho. Will the drive lines work from a gasser. Im pretty sure not but thought id ask. Oh and thanks for the info

Ok my 2000 nv5600 just died it has a broke gear and what looks to be broken syncro pieces laying in the bottom, the fluid was full and i was not towing i was in traffic at a light and it locked up, now i have a choice to make do i put $3000 in for i 5600 or convert to a nv4500 if i convert i know ill need the trans and bellhousing,flywheel, clutch and drive shafts. My question is will the 4500 bolt in place and will my tc bolt up and where can i find cheep drive shafts they are hard to find here

  7. My 2000 2500 has started having a brake and abs light each time i drive it what causes this
  8. Yes not pleased with that but cant afford a fass yet
  9. No way to check live data, how do i reset apps and im running by guage 12 psi wot 14 cusing and 18@ idle
  10. Ok guys my 2000 2500 cummins and now that its turned off cold ive noticed when cruising at 55 itll randomly just feel like i let off the throttle a bit then pick back up any of u guys had this issue and what caused it ive seen on here that the apps can cause this
  11. ok guys just found my front diff cover is leaking so im going to pull cover and re seal what do yall recommend using to seal it and what oil to put back in
  12. ok got in the truck fired it up let it warm up when back out and no fp changed the lp with a airtex now almost 20 psi at idle and about 14 wot

  15. well in not tryng to get 600 hp yet but would like to hace the full benifits of the system plus keep the factory fuel heater and wif sensor
  16. ok heres the case after my recent lift pump failure i have decided to save up an hopefully invest in i fass fuel system prob a fass 95 my question now is with this system my concerns are the pick up tube and stock filter housing does the kit come with the filter housing to vp big line also are these kits effictive with the factory pickup tube and stock filter housing or are they too restrictive to support the 600 hp they say the pump will support

  18. thanks i looked all over this fourm for a artical on it i musta missed it - - - Updated - - - 2 questions i do have to to replace the cap the air bag has to bee took out i know to unhook the battery for 15 min to make sure it discharged but how does it come out of its slot is it clipped or screwed in and tha duct work screwes to the cap too how do i accomplish this
  19. i know my vp had been replaced and thats what i am going to do ima put the new pump on i do have a fp guage plus the warning light too also i rarley drive it due to not being able to afford the big pump and when i do its just a couple miled and i baby it also with it being cnd keep the fuel thin so itll pump easiet when coldold im keepingtrea
  20. sorry guys ive been away way too long but for any one else that reads this i tore it down replaced wheel cylenders and brake shoes and cleaned drums in soapy hot water then thuro cleaning with brake cleaner reassemled and adjusted working like new now ive put 20k miles on it they havent grabbed once sence
  21. ok my new dash pad just came in but i need a little guidence on installing it the remval of the old wont be hardsence only peices are left

  23. ok i have another lift pump but its a stock style from autozone i know not the best idea but the truck quit and wouldnt pump fuel so i picked that one up turned out the canaster in the tank had come apart but anyway should i put it back on as for after market ive been wanting one for a very long time but dont have $500 to get one im to the point i know its comming that the vp fails if i cant get a better fuel system but im between a rock and a hard place
  24. ok i have a new question now with my guages before i installed them i had a fuel pressure light and had no lights but with the guage it shows 12psi at idle but like at cruising speeds i get maby 10 and wot 6 i did how ever wire the sending unit with a larger guage wire than the lead off the guage had could that be messing with the reading or is my stock lift pump failing but wouldnt i get a lo pressure light if that was the case
