  3. boost elbow:doh:lol forgot about that he just said bolt just lead me to assume sumn else:nono: if done with a boost elbow i see no problems with it as long as the boost isnt too much for the stock turbo and i dont know what the max is for these turbos im a 2nd gen guy im sure some one with more knowlage of the crs can help with that:smart:
  4. i think any rigging things is bad ecpecially on something that has a purpose such as a waste gate:nono: the proper way to get more boost by the waist gate is stiffer spring in it (correct me if im wrong:duh:). as of right now what kind of boost are you running? i wouold think the stock boost would be plenty to a point. any ideas of what kind of chip you are wanting?

  7. yes if the head cracks between a coolant and a return oil passage the colant will leak in to the oil but the compression will not be affected as the cylenders are still sealed and no signs will show while driving till the colant level get low enough to start over heating hopefully he didnt get it too hot or hurt internal bearing do to the colant dilutin the oil

  23. ok guys i have a 2000 dodge cummins 4x4 and i hate rake to the frunt and am thinking if installing 2in leveling spacers on the frunt but some thing ive read say you just about have to unhook everthing on the frunt axel to get the clearence to get the spacers in is this true? i live at an apartment and disassembling somuch there is a nono:banghead: and paying to have it done is out of the books:broke:any input would be greatly appreciated:thumb1: also i was wondering if a set of new modle 17in in wheels will fit my truck? thanks in advance guys:thumbup2:
  24. ive talked to my dad whose been a diesel mechanic for close to 30 years and he said timming but idk im thinking injector too and really want to pull them and have them tested but this is me daily driver. and yess it does have a pop in the exhaust and the jackhammer sound was more described by my gf but that is pretty close to the sound. its worse than a valve rattle but nut as bad as a rod knock and the speed of it is faster with faster rpms edit: oh and the audio wont do much good cause with the stack it distorts badly due to the truck being so loud
