tow mirrors
Hey Dave, the ones that Rick's showing you are the exact mirrors I have. I linked you to the website and he linked you to the actual mirrors. Instead of going through the dealer I just got the brackets through am autoparts which was why mine was a little higher. My mirrors don't shake to bad at any speed. They don't shake anymore than the tow mirrors on the 06 I had. You'll be happy you got them.

tow mirrors
http://www.am-autoparts.com/2002/Dodge/Ram-2500-Truck/Mirrors.html Check these out dripley, I've had a set of these for a little over a month and love them. Hadn't had a problem yet. Power and heated works great and are identical to the factory tow mirrors. Mine I got ended up being around 220 or so but I had to buy the brackets for mine I had the small mirrors but you said you have tow mirrors so you should be good to go with mirrors. Hope this helps:thumb1: --- Update to the previous post... * correction $260 I meant to say

Fuel Pressure Gauge Install
I just installed an Isspro ev2 electric gauge on my Airdog 100. I did have it in the inlet of the vp before I purchased the Airdog. I used a banjo/snubber bolt to a grease gun hose to my sender but I had needle bounce and sometimes the gauge would quit working. Since I installed it on the Airdog no bounce no problems but don't know if you can on the raptor. A set up like dripley is probably your best bet but for sure change those factory fuel lines.

ABS light and parking brake light staying on
I actually put electrical tape around the problem spot and went down the road and the lights went off. One question, if I can't splice the wire back together that means I have to buy a new sensor and the wire but do I have to buy a hub if the sensor is in the hub or do I take the hub off?

ABS light and parking brake light staying on
I do believe I have found my problem. Checked the tires and the bearings are fine but when I checked the front passenger side I found a wire that I am assuming runs to the sensor rubbing on my tire. The ties holding it on must have broke. I'm going to fix that wire and maybe that will fix my problem if not I will get back.

ABS light and parking brake light staying on
Boy, the last few days I ain't had much luck. AC goes out and now the ABS and parking brake lights are staying on. I checked for codes and got nothing and checked the fuses everything looks good there. The truck brakes just as it always has since I got the truck. The speedo and everything in the gauge cluster are working properly just the two lights are on. I know it could be several things but just wondering what order I needed to go in to fix this problem. From my searches on here I think it may be the two speed sensor up front. Would you replace them first and then if that didn't work replace the sensor in the back? If not that check the ABS motor/computer? Either route Im going to check the wiring and button up any problem areas I might have. Thanks in advance

My AC went out
Hey guys, my AC went out last week and went and had it checked out and I've got a leak at the compressor and another one somewhere else but I can't remember off the top of my head where its at. Shop that looked at it quoted $1100 to fix it. Where is the best place to get an AC compessor and other AC parts for these trucks?

Tryin to figure out where stock lift pump is at
Hey guys need some help. Does anyone have a picture of a stock lift pump or explain to me where its at. Im trying to figure out if mine is on the motor or in the tank. I turned the key on to listen for it and I didnt hear anything which might not be a good sign. I know the general area of where its at. Its below and behind the fuel filter housing if its still on the motor. I've seen two things that could be it. One is horizontal with the ground. It has a red chrysler sticker on it but i could read it because of dirt. The other is mounted vertically. Any help is appreciated

Isspro guage acting funny....and question on Airdog100
Thanks Micheal for your input. I can't remember on the tool I will have to find it and check it out. I just bought it less than a month ago so I hope it was the updated version. And yes when I install the airdog I am going to add the needle valve into my setup. --- Update to the previous post... Also guys about the factory lift pump, I think mine is still on the side of the motor. Is this good or bad for the install. Ive read where people have to drop the tank or take the bed off. Just trying to learn and find out about these drawstraws and see if I need one. I believe after researching, im going to run my lines through the stock filter housing like dripley. I like the idea of extra filtration and it ain't hurting his pressure none.

Isspro guage acting funny....and question on Airdog100
Great video Mike, I called vulcan performance yesterday and talked to a fellow there and said when I was ready to purchase the Airdog I could get the hardware to setup the gauge while installing the Airdog. Couple more questions, Mike in your video I believe I saw your fuel pressure gauge drop to zero when you shut the truck off (I might be wrong) but does it. Whenever I shut my truck off my gauge stays wherever it was prior to turning the key off. Didn't know if that was normal. Two, I believe my lp is still mounted on the side of the motor. Does that make the AD install easier or harder?

Isspro guage acting funny....and question on Airdog100
Boy that would sure suck if its the sender. The gauge hadn't been on for a month. I also noticed when the truck is idling and its at 10-12 the needle will go up and down up and down. Is that needle bounce? Its very subtle not jumping around crazy like but anyways. Yeah the stock filter canister was a question for later. I read a little into it but not that familar yet with the different ways to do it. I think I remember reading that you lose you fuel heater and water warning light by bypassing that the filter but Im not sure they are that important to me. I just want the set up that gives me the best performance from the lift pump and get find the best place to get accurate fp readings.

Isspro guage acting funny....and question on Airdog100
Ok guys, bout to pull the trigger on an Airdog 100 as soon as my tax return comes in but had a few questions. First off, my Isspro ev2 fuel pressure gauge seems to be acting funny. When I get in and crank the truck in the mornings when engine is colder the gauge will go to zero for a minute and then pop up to about 10-12 at idle which is where it normally is. No rhyme or reason though I can be driving and it will drop to zero and sometimes stay there or pop back up. My set up on the gauge is I tapped into the test port of the vp44 with a banjo/snubber bolt to a grease gun hose then to my sending unit. I used teflon tape on everything but the banjo bolt to the vp44. I hope thats a good setup but if not I need to change it which might lead to my second question. When I install the Airdog do I montior the fuel pressure from the same spot like I am now or does a fuel line run to the banjo bolt I have now. If I was guessing I probably have to get a different fitting at the vp44 but not sure.

Can you hurt a truck by leaving it plug in?
Yeah definately going to get me one of them timers cuz it sure is nice to jump in and take off. The neighbors would probably buy me one so that my truck don't warm up for 15 mins with high idle and straight pipe at 5 am in the morning.

Can you hurt a truck by leaving it plug in?
Hey guys, some 20-30 degree weather starting where I live in. I plugged my truck up last night I got to thinking about a couple of questions. Can you leave your truck plugged in too long. I plugged it up a 6 p.m. last night and got in it at 7 am this morning. I going to get one of those timers that can come on a few hours before I'm ready to jump in my truck in the mornings but also when I come to work I like to plug it in because it sits all day til 6 or 7 at night and I also push snow which I probably will be doing tonight so an overview would be plugged it up a 6 pm last night. Got in it at 7 this morning. Drove it for 15 mins to the shop plugged it up at 730 this morning. Get in it and go home at 6 or so and plug it up for either work tonight or in the morning so it can sped alot of time on plugged up. Sorry to be long winded but didnt know if it would mess anything up by plugging it in so much. thanks

Aftermarket Fuel Pump
I'm also in the market for a lift pump in the very near future. I looked at raptor and air dog and Im getting the ad100. I like the fuel air seperation system and it comes with everything you need. I believe the raptor price is for the pump alone. I think you have to buy filters or other parts if you with raptor. I think it's just personal preference. As for me I'm going airdog. Good luck:thumbup2:

New to forum am I on the right track
I was thinking how do I check my fuel pressure without a gauge too but didn't want to say anything. I glad the airdog will be enough. I definately will be on this forum frequently and when I get the airdog I will be looking for tips/advice on the install to put it in right and achieve the 14 psi at all times goal. I like to do it right the first time.

New to forum am I on the right track
I haven't checked it with a mechanical fuel gauge. My isspro says 10-12 idle and 0-5 wot. Hangs out about 8 driving down the road. Ive owned several diesels but I've never used 2 cycle. Ive owned the truck almost 4 months I had the oil changed but I'm thinking about changing the fuel filter to see if that could help my pressure til I save enough for the air dog.

New to forum am I on the right track
Hey everyone I'm new to the forum and trying to learn as much about my dodge as I can to keep it on the road. I just put an isspro fuel pressure gauge on it confirmed that I need a lift pump. (not that I didn't know that already). My question is I have been looking at lp and I've decided to go with the air dog 100 big line kit whatever I need to do it right. I have no plans for engine/power upgrades I'm just looking for longevity and later on who knows I might want to add something. Just wondering if I'm on the right track. Your input is appreciated.
