I only pay .08 a kw here. Our electric Bill had Been averaging 100 a month.

Just recently did led lights throughout the house and fixed all the calcium buildup In the water heater. Hoping to pay less next month! All while being able to enjoy creature comforts.

Between the shop, guest house and the main house we pay just around $100. Been running compact florescent bulbs and other low demand lighting. Like we just order a new LED floor lamp for the desk. Really nice.  It can be done it just takes time to adapt your life to low power usage.

Holy cow your getting a lot of action up there. Hopefully you have fuel reserves topped off for your generator, chainsaw and vehicles. For myself it doesn't seem like anything is going to happen. Weather is unseasonably warm right now at 45*F and raining. No snow in sight even the mountains in my view are without snow now. River is picking up volume though. Just checking the traffic cameras it seem its raining all the way up to McCall which is not good for us. (Flooding possible?)

Just got power again. Looks like they're on the ball this Time. Doesn't mean it won't go out again though as the storm still hasn't passed completely.

Now I get to find out whether or not I'm cutting My way out lol.

Still have fuel left over from the last storm so I'm good there.

It's been in the 40s here too and we've had rain the past couple days which have caused other problems as well.

60* sunny and very light breeze here right now, going to be a very record setting day across our region, just headed out to go for a run in shorts and t-shirt in December when it should be highs in the teens lol but we are going to have strong winds tomorrow blowing in some normal temps for the season. Got to enjoy it while I can.
