Tools to keep in your truck ??

Recommended Posts

Besides my quart bottles of TCW3 in the doors, screw drivers, multi tools, mini-vise grips. Wheel chocks & blocks that I use with the trailer, go in the back without fail. (At one camp, the organizers requested I use my truck to tow another fellows gooseneck cargo trailer out after the FORD dealer had retrieved the HIS truck with a blown transmission. I had to drop my trailer to go move his... needed blocks & chocks to drop mine. CTD Power!!) If towing, traffic triangles & 3 reflective traffic cones go in the back. (I've had to mark off clearance for the rear ramp for my trailer with cones.) A long piece of stiff steel welding rod (coat hanger) stashed under my back seat to rescue dummies. Double ended snaps for tie downs & setting up tents. Shackles. A tow rope. Trailer plugs & adaptors. Spare Jesus clips. Gooseneck ball (Hidden Hitch), Reese hitch 2" ball. Bed sized cargo net (golf course salvage). 4 way. Work gloves, waterproof gloves, roll of papere towels, spare baseball cap (driving into the sun).Spare fuel filter. I drilled holes in the front seat bases for bungies to keep things from sliding forward. I have 2 plastic bins on passenger's side. One with 8 rachet tie downs, each rolled to keep untangled. The other has assorted bungies. A hank of 1/8" braid rope cord. LED flashlight. Emergency matches. Small bottle of my choice of pain reliever.
