overflowing power steering fluid

Recommended Posts

Again haven't used the truck this week, been on vacation , and the power steering has leaked out the cap. Very odd. I'm kind of getting used to it happening if I don't use it. I think she's getting back at me for leaving her alone for to many days.

After its been sitting. Took it and towed the camp tailer up to 9000 feet for the weekend. I drove it Wednesday left Friday morning for another vacation and took the car came home Sunday night no leaks never touch it and on Tuesday I went out and found it leaking. Last time it was after it sat about a week also. I generally drive it to work everyday since my daughter drives now and uses the jetta and work is only ten miles so it's rare to sit to long but when it does it leaks. If I remember right it never did it before we were try to get it on the trailer (lift pump went out) and turning the wheels without it running it leaked all over out the cap. I think that might have done something to it it's probably not good to force it around without it running.
