Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. I am the proud owner of a 2005 Dodge Ram QCSB CTD. I've owned this truck since mid 2007 and have thoroughly enjoyed it throughout the years. Of course, we've had our ups and downs, but it's led me to having a truck I would have never dreamed of having 5 years ago. I will give a rundown of the trucks and my history, but for those who don't want to do a bunch of reading, here's a short list of how the truck is currently set up: Engine mods: Bored .020 over Shaved and coated pistons Brazilian 12v shot-peened/polished rods w/ARP fasteners Balanced rotating assembly 14mm main studs w/gorilla girdle DP1 Camshaf…

Been watching this site for years, havn't been on many forums lately since I had to sell my 06 megacab. Just picked me up my third cummins (other one was a 02) its a 2001 sport, auto. I sure did miss the diesel. If you guys have any technical questions, I'm a former Dodge/cummins tech and spent many of years under the hood of 2nd/3rd gen trucks. I still do some side work, which keeps me busy.

Seems the "thing" to do, introduce yourself! So "hi!". I found this forum from the DodgeForum.com groups. Long story short I pretty much just finished restoring my greatgrandfathers 1951 Dodge B-3-D truck, and decided that I needed a new project. So, after kicking ideas around I decided the buy my buddy's 94 2500 diesel and figure out how to make it old and new at the same time. So I'm taking 2 51-53 cabs and sticking them together in an extended cab configuration with a stake side flat bed. I'm just starting on this project and I like to plan (less suprises later?) so started searching the net for places that might be of help, and this is one of the places I landed…

Hello my name is Chris. I grew up in Western Montana and have found myself in Boise Idaho for the last few years. I've been a lurker here and cumminsforum.com for a few years now. I can't even count how much time/money you guys have saved me with my miscelanous truck issues. I finally broke down and registered so I could start contributing instead of just taking. Thanks again guys, I look forward to many more years of information and help.Chris

Hi all, I'm Russ. I used to be on this site, and a few others. I'm from SE Idaho, lived by Firebird for a while. Now I'm in Encinitas, Ca. Quit my job and went back to school. As much as I love and miss Idaho it's pretty nice living a mile from the ocean.Anyway I've owned five brands of diesels, BMW, VW, Dodge, Chevy, and Ford. My current two being a '99 F250 and "our" 2011 Jetta TDI. I've still got my built Cummins engine sitting in Dads shop in Idaho, but haven't figured out whether to sell it or buy something to put it in.I better quit screwing off and get back to my math homework, so I'll end by saying I'm not the smartest guy around, but hopefully my experiences…

Hey all, I am from the north eastern ohio area. Right outside of Akron, pretty close to Wooster. Just traded one of my Powerstrokes for a 2001 Dodge 2500 with the 5.9 and 6speed. Really like it so far. The guy I got it from was not the most honest guy in the world but so far the truck seems pretty solid minus some minor problems. Looks like a pretty decent forum here, hope to learn more about these trucks!
