Hi everyone just had a little question on the juice. When you have it on the stock setting does that in fact mean stock and its not adding any timing? I would like to play around with my smarty more but I dont want the timing involved from the edge. And if anyone else is doing this stack id like to know what levels your running and what has worked best for you.

Been noticing i cannot hold rail pressure. Yesterday while driving to seattle, my RP was only about 7000 psi @ 75 mph. Couldn't get much over 12k under heavy acceleration. I stopped to fuel up and after starting it back up, my pressures were better but still down. Thinking I popped my PRV, any thought?

Twas board the other day, and clicked onto the Cooper Tire website. I found out they have a new tire size in the Discoverer ATR style in 17" rim sizes...................LT275/70 17E. Just a bit taller and wider for the folks that don't want the "mexican" style stupid wide tires. I wish Cooper made a LT255/80 17E or even a LT255/85 17E tire. I know all you young "pups" like the "fat and wide" tires, but if you talk to anyone that makes a "living" off road: and not just recreationally, you'd know that the un-cool pizza cutter style tires rule!!!! Hence my wish for the tire sizes I mentioned in this paragraph!!!:2cents:

My 04.5 2500 is very hard starting. It starts when it is plugged in but still cranks over longer than it should. I have checked the relays to the grid heater, and also the amperage from the relays to the grid heater. Most people I talk to about it say that it is probably the injectors but when it's not plugged in and doesn't start there is absolutly no smoke at all coming out of the tail pipe. This makes me think that it is not getting the fuel it needs to start. When it is running it runs good with no hickups or loss of power. If anyone has any ideas I'm open for sugestions before I go and spend 2 grand on injectors.

I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 pickup with a 5.9l diesel and 48re trans, bought it used in January with 162,000 miles on it. recently it started making a fluctuating droning noise that is heard through the exhaust while cruising at speeds between 50 and 65 mph. It tends to disappear if power is added and then returns. Anyone have any thoughts as to a possible cause?

  10. While changing the oil on my truck last night, I noticed that water was draining from the A/C hose from the firewall. I have not had the A/C on for the last month. I have the dash selector set to floor or floor/vent. With the engine running, I watched the A/C compressor cycle on and off. What would cause the A/C compressor to cycle on and off when the A/C is not selected?

My truck just turned 140,000 miles this past weekend coming home from my second trip to SEMO. Had I not run thru a "front" and have the wind shift from straight South to NE, I would've gotten another 20-21mpg tank. That's running 65-68mph. That said, I thought I'd share with y'all what I've done to my truck since I got her. I'm pulling this from the top of my head, so bear with me here.Mods in order of installation.1. Fuel Tank Vent Mod.......IMHO, the best "bang for the buck" mod there is.....Done at about 11,000 miles2. MBRP Free Flow Exhaust........Cat Back......Still on and looking good...Done at about 14,000 miles3. K&N intake System.......then replaced wit…

Well boys, I finnally decided to replace my ball joints,@ 325k. Had them replaced around 160k, and it cost me over 1200.00 . I bought a set of XRP's from a store in Dallas a few weeks ago. I started on the drivers side yesterday around 8:30 in the morning, finally got them both out around 1:00, man were they stuck. Broke 2- 1/2" Craftsman breaker bars and 2 cm ratchets and 1 Snapon. Went to Sears in Arlington to change them out, lunch. Went to Northern Tool and bought a 900 ft lb 1/2" air ratchet, since my Stanley wouldn't hack it. The new one didn't hack it either. I had bought a ball joint press from HF, and man is it junk. Broke the middle receiver spacer on th…

I was down in SE Missouri this past weekend snow goose hunting. The hunting was poor; but the mileage going back home was really, really good. I filled up just South of Sikeston, MO, prior to the drive home. I decided to spend the night at the P's house, rather than drive the last 75 miles in a stupor!!!! That said, it was 399.6 miles to the P's house. The following morning, I drove the rest of the way home. I filled up this afternoon..............653 miles on the tank of fuel. The last 4 days have been towing my work trailer. Prior to towing, I was at 500 miles for the tank when the fuel gauge read 3/8 tank left!!! Had I continued driving highway/empty like I was, I…

  16. Is this procedure good for my truck, 03 Dodge Cummins? I am getting P0123 in the PCM and is in limp mode. For awhile after warmed up would drive ok. Was shifting in all gears, then it stayed in limp mode and local mechanic grounded the trans relay in the fuse box, then it shifts but no OD Now stays in limp mode when not grounded in fuse box. Replaced APPS with TIMBO's APPS at http://www.dodgecumminsapps.com/index.html, Made no difference.

  19. Since the VNT plan went TU I am going another route. It’s a little more money, but hey that happens :-) I got a killer deal on a set of DDP 50's, one that I couldn't refuse. Nozzles were always part of the plan, but never in the immediate budget, but like I said I couldn't refuse these. I have wanted a different turbo for a while, as the VNT indicated. My main goal for a new turbo was to reduce the insane back-pressure created by the stock turbine housing and wheel. I don't need much more out of the compressor side, just more efficient. I am trying to decide between a Garrett Stage 2 or a modified Stage 3. The two turbos both have the same turbine and turbine…

I think I am going to move the SG to the DD and get an Edge Insight in the Dodge. It does so much more than the SG, and has several features I would like to have anyways (post-turbo pyro, turbo timer, and various pressure/temp sensors, backup camera). I'll probably start with just the post-turbo pyro and oil pressure. By using the CTS for oil pressure I can move my pre-turbo pyro from the A-pillar to the dash mount and have room for the CTS under the A-pillar. Down the road I would eventually like to monitor oil temp, diff temp, and trans temp. The OBDII gauges will be better than the SG since Edge actually has PID's for Dodge, so I will be able to monitor rail pressure…
