It's been a couple of crazy weeks... My step-son got married... Yeah, the wanted me to be presentable so I need to shop for hard to find in my size clothes that I'll likely never wear (or fit in), again... It went smoothly. They say the band was very good. I could not talk to my sister sitting beside me so they must have been very good indeed! We set up a small base of operations for our annual Rendezvous trip... just a single supply tent & minimal gear... My Step-daughter's Masters graduation... (maybe I can wear those clothes again before they're outgrown!) Back to Rendezvous... My MS was not happy so I did not attempt to overnight bu…

I been working on a bunch of formulas in excel and I finally got it to where you can find amps/ohms/watts/volts if you have any 2 of the 4 variables. That's sheet #1, sheet #2 is just plain fun because you can figure out exactly how much something uses and costs you over a period of time based on any 2 variables. I had some issues with those with openoffice or google apps so I will post 2 variants. On the bottom left of the spreadsheets is the page selector for those who didn't know, so you can switch between the 2 there. If you guys have anything you want a spreadsheet for just let me know. I can find calculations for basically anything and love working with excel. …

I think he is smoking a crack pipe to think that OTR vehicles can double their mileage. The only thing that can move a heavy load is energy. Whats next, fly a 747 or an air bus on half the fuel? That is why I hate politicians, they have no clue about the laws they try to enact. http://www.fyurl.com/redirect.php?fyid=&url=http://us.lrd.yahoo.com/_ylt=ArAIrSDIo8cMajqEXJG3LdVG2vAI;_ylu=X3oDMTFnMXBta2M5BGlpZAMxNDMxMjg4MzczODAxODU3Njg1NwRub2gDMwRwb3MDMQRyaWQDMTEyODkzMw--/SIG=140s5d9l6/**http%3A//us.rd.yahoo.com/dailynews/rss/topstories/*http%3A//news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100521/ap_on_re_us/us_obama_fuel_efficiency

Some of you know I produce my own power here at my place... Well I'm going to show you how to get the most from you water source... My irrigation system is 1" line at 120 PSI roughly... It's feed from a dam about 1/4 mile back on the mountain. (I'll get pics of this soon). But I added a debris filter to prevent plugging of sprinklers and the pelton wheel jet... http://forum.mopar1973man.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1020 Normally get about 71-72 PSI after the pelton wheel is running this brings down the water pressure and keeps my garden hose from looking like water wennies... http://forum.mopar1973man.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1019 But …

Hey gang... Check this out I paint my shop floor white... http://forum.mopar1973man.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1008 The killer part of this is now with the mild weather you can open up the shop door in the morning hours and get a ton of light in the shop. The awesome part is that you no longer have to have a 150W shop light cooking you under the truck. The light reflects all over under the truck just like if you flipped it up-side-down... No joke...

Hey gang... Lets see some pictures of your truck. Now there is a catch though.. I want to see pictures of your truck working hard. I don't want to see the glossy show and shine pics. I want to see some good hard working truck that get dirty and get the job done... Also remember there is a photo gallery here... http://forum.mopar1973man.com/album.php Because I've got a wild hair thinking about creating a video of our truck and how they work hard... So let gather up those pictures. If you got videos to share with the group you can with youtube but I might ask you for a copy of the video too so I might use it...

Mike I sent this to you in a PM but figured this forum could use the activity and perhaps someone else may benefit from it so I reposted it here. I am playing with the 3.0.9 verson of Vbulletin. I opened up the upload folder, then install folder, control A, copy, then go to the wamp folder, then www folder, then install folder. Am I correct so far?My question is do I just highlight the files in the wamp install folder, delete them and then paste the new 3.0.9 files into the wamp install folder? Then I need to change the config.php.new to config.php?Open the config.php file with word pad.change database to test.savethen go to browser an type in localhost/install/install.…

I am just about ready to pull the trigger on the Vbulletin software package. I am going with the Vbulletin 4.0 Forum License. The email/online support package is $80 and the phone support package is $300 for one year. This seems like a LOT of money for support that SHOULD already be included in the cost of the software license. Does anybody have any thoughts or suggestions about this?

I was on Go Daddy and looking at the web hosting plans and I am not sure which plan I should start out with. They have an Economy, Deluxe, and Unlimited Plan. I was thinking about starting out with the Economy Plan which offers10 GB Space, 300 GB Transfer, 100 Email Accounts, and 10 MySQL Databases. I was thinking I can upgrade as I develop more website traffic. Any thoughts on this? What has your experience been with this? ---------- Post added at 11:00 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:49 AM ---------- I meant to add after looking further that Go Daddy is offer a special deal in which they will provide the Economy Plan web hosting for $1.99 fo…

Mike, I figured how to copy the SQL file we talked about today. I was using the wrong drive. :banghead: I feel like Magrubber defusing an atomic bomb. Figured I would post my software antics on this forum and provide you guys with some clueless NOOBIE entertainment. I can mail the disk to you if you think you want to fool with it. At least you would have a copy of the file I am working with and be on the same page of music when I have a question. The wife/CFO gave the approval for the purchase of Vbulletin so I will download it tomorrow. Sound like progress? ehhhhh??????

The more I keep talking to people the more they just don't understand the fact I live in the middle of nowhere. I'm a long ways from a big city or a town with supplies... What I'm going to do is post 2 pictures of Google Map with my surrounding towns and show you what I got... Now remember I'm not exactly in New Meadows, ID proper I'm 20 miles north of New Meadows, ID I'm exactly 3/4 of mile south of Pinehurst Trading post. http://forum.mopar1973man.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=985 Council, ID (52 miles) is one place I pick up parts for my truck bvut if I was to travel south I would have to go to either Boise or Ontario, OR for part beyond that. For grocery shoppin…

I put some hoses on it, and I was going to use it to transfer fuel from the truck to the tractor, it is probably going to be slow, but it will be easier then lifting a 6 gallon can 4 1/2' up into the air, and slopping it all over the hood of the tractor. I just have to get some battery alligator jumpers. What do you think, good idea, or should I just buy a pump for the intended use?
