Posted July 14, 201510 yr Here's a link for anyone that likes to obsess over rust free Cummins...I check this site all the time for prices of manual trucks and newer CRs. 24vs are still holding price! http://nwmsrocks.com/ram-dodge-cummins-diesel-trucks-for-sale
July 14, 20159 yr Holy dodge porn! I just can't believe 2nd gens are selling for almost the same price as they were brand new.
July 14, 20159 yr Most 24v 2nd gens around here are in the mid single G's to low teens anymore. One can buy early 3rd gens for low to upper teens all day long now even. Low mileage around me is anything under 150K though. Anything at the 200K mark or higher is dirt cheap, I am seeing 2010-2012 Cummins loaded full deletes ect with close to 200K selling for around 20K lately. The only ones holding value really strong are all the mega cabs but I have seen a few nice ones go fro less than 20K already.
July 15, 20159 yr Seems like anything around here that's "rust free" goes for blood. I'm actually looking for a Suburban for my wife right now. I think I'll be driving about 6-8 hours west and saving about 2-3k for something that's actually rust free.
September 5, 20159 yr Owner Might be a time to upgrade the 1996 Dodge Ram to something a bit better...
