Sorry if this is not the place to post this but I have found a chart with the latest fuel HFRR values with the addition of bio fuel.

Since most fuel stations will have between 2% and 5% biodiesel I thought this would be great info for us VP44 powered trucks.

I am having difficulty posting the chart if someone can help I will get it up asap.

Send us a link to the chart.  We would love to have that info.

It's from a huge PDF.

I honestly don't remember how I found the PDF either. It was from a government page.

Absolutely. I would love to add more to the site.

Just remember the Biodiesel is higher in cetane so it lower in BTU's so typically there is a small loss to MPG while using Biodiesel fuels.

Mike apparently 2%-20% only adds between .2 to 1.2 points in cetane values. That I don't have the chart for but I do remember the values. As far as BTU heat valve in 2%-5% biodiesel blends the BTU of heat only drops about about 2% if I remember correctly. It's a very small change.

Maybe it won't work because I'm using my cell phone.

I sent the chart to.

Now the values are are for no biodiesel, 2%, 5% and 20%.

Also the US standard for cetane values within diesel fuel is 40. With 20% blend cetane jumps up to a whopping 41.
