So I think my front steering got bent in the accident. As you can see in one of the pictures the tie rod coming from the drivers side is hitting the front differential when the wheels are turned. I tried to get a picture of the shape but I'm not sure what the factory bends look like. Either way the insurance is going to replace it because the alignment is messed up and it's hitting the cover. I posted a link to the updated steering below, which will work on 01 & 02 models. Does anyone here have experience with the update?

(Oil spots are NOT mine btw)

Time to do the 3rd gen track bar upgrade.

No money for that yet!

Off topic, but what length is your FTE resonator?

post-338-0-59070600-1443138329_thumb.jpg Here is picture of mine. It is pretty much straight. I do see where mine is making slight contact with the diff. My track bar is shot and that might be the cause not sure. The weird thing I see on yours is it seems to be bent toward the bumper and making contact.

Maybe it's just the picture?? Mine seems bent backwards toward the diff

The improved track bar is not that much...  it's the install...  but you have o install new parts anyway.

My FTE is the longer 36" 4" in / out & SS.  Don't forget 2 flat clamps.

Best TRE out there is dodge offroad.

The 4th gen upgrade part you mention is fine and direct bolt depending on year of truck.
