Hey guys I bought a 24 a few months ago as an investment for work. A lot of the guys I work with have tricked out trucks one thing I like a lot is the loud whistle of the turbo I pulled my silencer off but it didn't make a very much of a difference does anyone know of a way to make to make it more noticeable but not spend a fortune

  • BHAF can help with cabin noise, but the hx35 and the 24v don't really make a lot of turbine noise.    You can also do a straight pipe all the way back.

Awesome I just ordered a BHAF yesterday appreciate the advice thank you

Yep,

If you are expecting a Powerstroke or duramax whistle you are going to be disappointed.

Mine whistles pretty good around 20 to 24 psi but the only way I can keep it there is with the 5th wheel hooked up and pulling a grade. With out it I just keep accelerating. LEO's dont accept that excuse very well..

The BHAF and a straight exhaust will really open things up. Here's a VIDEO of my 99 before and after. I know it's a bit long (wanted to be thorough) so just skip around to hear the good stuff.

Oh and welcome to the forums! :thumb1:
