No. No mobile apps required. This skin is mobile ready and automatically reacts to the viewport size of the mobile device. So like on my tablet it automatically changes from mobile to desktop by rotation.

Yep just use a browser, I used to by like you and wanted a mobile app, but the web version works pretty dang good without any limitation of features.

Problem with Tapatalk and web apps like that is I lose control of what you see. I can't control layout or anything unless I pay big money to have a custom Tapatalk app produced. Then having to update both the site and Tapatalk is a royal PITA. When the responsive forum software came out I was tickled pink to dump tapalk and forum runner. 

I've had no problem using my phone and that site. It's real convenient when trying to post photos into threads that I took on my phone. No more emailing or uploading to another site just to be able to post from a computer!

I seem to have a problem uploading photos, I managed to upload a cover photo but I can't do a profile one unless supporters are only allowed to have profile pics

gesh I have no idea hahahahahaha, I only setup some of the permissions, can't expect me to remember them.
