I'm just curious if you guys have any issues with your speedometer  when you compare it to GPS speed.
I own my truck since 1999 and the speedometer was always off by about 5 miles when traveling at 70 it's actually 75.

I've been looking into the Chrysler shop manual and this stuff doesn't give me the correct tire revolution per mile, WTF?
Chrysler Shop Manual section 22.
TIRES/WHEELS 22.
BR/BE TIRES/WHEELS 22 - 9.

                  SPECIFICATIONS

TIRE SIZE SUPPLIER REVOLUTIONS PER MILE

                  P225/75/R16      XL  GOODYEAR     716
                  P245/75R16   WRT/S  GOODYEAR  692
                  P245/75R16  LTX A/S  MICHELIN      691
                  P265/75R16   WRT/S  GOODYEAR  668
                  LT245/75R16 LTX A/S  MICHELIN     679
LT245/75R16 LTX M/S  MICHELIN    678 <--- My  DODGE RAM 1999 was set to this ?
                  LT265/75R16 LTX A/S  MICHELIN     648
LT265/75R16 LTX M/S  MICHELIN    652 <--- Currently running this tires and I'm still off.
                  LT275/70R17  WGSA  GOODYEAR 650
                  LT235/85R16   WAP  GOODYEAR   650
                  LT235/85R16 LTX M/S  MICHELIN    650

Now I have a question if you guys have any issues with your speedometer  or did you calibrate your speedometer  with some type of programmer (Smarty, Chrysler DRB III or Hypertech ?).

Now the other bug you CAN'T resolve is the GPH flow rate given by the ECM for MPG will be majorly off when you add a tuner and injectors. No way to correct that offset. Like my truck its off by 14.5%

Oh man this is going to be a mess.. It better come with a manual... Wow!

I hope not that should be plug-and-play and easy to follow menu, just like most of the modern OBD scan tools.
Now my neighbors must have thought I was on drugs, when i was testing the HORN RELAY for 2 hours like an IDIOT @ 10pm. :lol3:

I would just like to let everyone know currently out of the 3 beta testers ( Mopar1973Man, Me78569, SilverMoose )
Mopar1973Man and Me78569 currently are playing with the device, busy trying to finish SilverMoose beta gauge.

Holy Cow dude... This little thing is quite amazing. Now I can finally diagnose my ABS issues on my truck and resolve the weird issues with it. I've been able to clear the codes and and start fresh clear slate.

I'm actually glad it's helping out, hopefully it will help all the 2ND gen truck owners in the near future.

Chris,

Where are you at with the CCD tool that you're working on?

I have my old 99 ECM that has the WTS delay and wanted to know if it's fixable or not.

I bought a 99 Cummins ECM from my friend but it seems as it came from a 5 speed truck, as it has a lopey cam at idle scenario now, and Mike said it's probably due to the anti-stall feature added to the manual trans ECM.
