What does the inner diameter of my air filter need to be to go on a 5 inch intake pipe?

You'd have to go out and measure to be safe, but it's pretty common for 5" steel intake pipes to have an outer diameter of 5".

If you're wanting to clamp the filter on your intake pipe, you'll wanna make sure the flange diameter is the same as the outer diameter of the intake tube.  So if you're intake tube is 5", you'll want a air filter with a 5" flange, like this one.

That is nothing more than a matter of opinion. I have used airaid, baldwin and aem.

Truck is stock so just something reliable I've had oiled filters never cared for em

If you are stock then it is hard to beat any of the BHAF's  just choose one of the below.  
 

 

I am confused, but do you need a new filter?  Nothing wrong with a S&B just over sized for your setup.

 

If it was me I would find the cheapest route

 

1. buy another s&b fitler

2. ANother source for filter

3.OEM tube and BHAF

 

I don't think any of those choices are wrong since you are stock.
