So I bought a core 47re a month or so ago. A buddy came by as we tore down the trans from my green truck. Figured might as well get started on the core trans. Well here is what we found so far LOL. Plan as of now for the trans is to go in the 12v once done. Will get a dpc reman triple. Already have the full rebuild kit, billet input, tcs servo & lever kit, and goerends vb. I will be making my own laminated flex plate. This trans came out of a v10 truck.

  • Welded direct and no thrust on the planet. Rest surprisingly look rather ok. 2nd gear band had some heat to it but od looked very nice comparatively.

How much power will it be able to hold??

Is there a reason you go with DPC's TC and Goerend's VB and not just both from Goerend?

Cost and use. Can't justify the converter cost for what this is gonna do.

Ah gotcha, didn't catch the reman triple disk.

No problem. It is my dd and will be a tow rig. Now that the cursed green turd is alive lol
