If i drive with my Quad set to stock I don't notice it.  Once i'm on level 3 and higher is get progressively worse with each jump up in level.  Sometimes its enough to make the trans downshift and upshift over and over till i get out of that area it's bucking.

Engine is completely stock and I'm running the daily tune created by the calibration creator tool on this site.

Trans was just rebuilt, pump pressure was turned up to 65 PSI.  Stock converter.

Issue was happening before trans was rebuilt also.  Trans was rebuilt due to forward band failure.

Holy crap yes it’s smoother, night and day difference driving now.  Pretty sure I’ll get better fuel economy as well.

  • Drop your 1500: timing setting from 17* to 15*

You can also check your alternator for A/C noise. It can cause the converter to lock and unlock at about that speed.

what boost level does this happen at?

I dont think it is timing related, likely fueling or lash related.

Does it buck on the default tune?  Does it buck on lvl 3 vs lvl 5?

Yes it's worse on the default tune. I've been running it on level 3 and it does it. I'll have to try the upper levels to see if it's any better

You might try dropping the Light Throttle Limit to 25-30% so it drops out of cruise timing sooner. Then on the Low Boost timing I would go up to 3 or 4 degrees so it retards enough on heavier loads. If your hanging on high cruise timing to long transition to performance timing might be coming on too late. Just a crazy thought.

I put the setting you're and it is better I still hear a little but don't feel it. Boost is anywhere from 05 psi when it happens

@Mopar1973Man is getting the hang of thing tuning wise haha.  Mike hit the nail on the head, you were in cruise timing rather than performance timing that caused too much timing in that situtation.

What load % are you at when you hear it now? above or below the ligh tthrottle limit

Load is at 22-26

2 lbs boost

1550-1775 rpm

It seems to go away once I hit 3 lbs boost or 30 % load

What load % do you cruise at moving down the road at your typical "cruise" state
