Does anyone know how to flush out the heater exchange? I have pulled out all the tranny lines so I could replace them with the cooler, but cant find out any info on how to flush the heater exchange. I know it has a check valve, but thats it. LOL

There is a few flush kits in a can where they basically just basically screw the can on and pull the trigger...

 

I wonder if it will screw on to those fittings? Do you know which fitting I should flow it through by chance?

I’m not sure you need to flush it. As long as your trans lines are being flushed it should be fine.

Typically you start at the transmission and it returns at the transmission cleaning the entire cooler system including lines. Rare do you just clean a cooler and not the lines. I've been known to load a system with lacquer thinner then blow it out with compressed air. 

I already pulled the tranny lines and cooler to replace. The only thing remaining is the heater exchange on the motor. This is why I wanted the info on the cleaning procedure for only it. Hopefully this makes sense. Lol

Again this why all the lines are typically left in place and you flush the entire system with the can. Hook up the can, push the button till the can is empty, then grab compressed air blow the lines out dry. The entire cooling system is flushed and clean. 

 

As for cleaning just the one cooler it going to be a big PITA trying to hook up that can and flush the one cooler out. Then getting air in there and blowing the solvent out. Again much easier to have all the lines in place. Unless you want to remove the entire cooler to just clean it. Just seem like more work than what is required.
