Hey old pals! It’s been a long time since I posted! So after I fixed the air leak in the fuel line the truck ran perfect up until about 3 weeks ago. This happens with both warm and cold starts but mostly when warm. I turn the key start it and it willsputter a little bit and clear up on its own within 6 or 8 seconds. No check engine lights and everything else is working well. Any suggestions? My thoughts are something with injectors or another air leak. Currently getting 18.5 mpg. Thanks fellas!

I would say still either air in the fuel issue or a injector with pissy spray popping low.

What’s the best way to determine if there is air in the fuel? 

Mine did that when my return tee was leaking. Sounds like you might have that or another small leak causing a partial loss of prime. It seems to be happening to me every once in a while right now. Though mine only takes a couple seconds to start when it happens.

Do you have a part number or link?

Does the Fass I have bypass that return line or no?

Nope. Did mine years ago. You can find the grommets in the parts look up tool. They are priced around 8 bucks apiece now, that's ridiculous once you see what they are. Just follow the return line off of the VP and it will take you to the tee that might be leaking. The other line out of the tee goes up to the head. There is a banjo bolt with a sealing washer thaT goes bad and it might leaking there. Your just going to have dig in and see. Worse thing is you might not see fuel leaking but air could be getting in.

I can’t seem to make the lookup tool work on my iPhone not sure what’s up with that?

It does not work on my tablet either, just my lap top. You can actually make them out of some fuel line for next to nothing. Just have to open up the tomsee,whar size you need.
