August 19, 20186 yr If it's coming from the back then spider gears or limited slip, there is a pin that sometimes works it's way lose. Take pumpkin cover off and inspect.
August 19, 20186 yr Owner U-joints you need to pull the shaft to truly inspect it most times. Once free of the vehicle you see the sloppy joint typically fast. Now on the vehicle might be a bit tougher but grab each piece of shaft between the joint and rotate against each other. See if the joint got bad bearing cups.

Sometimes a bad u joint will cause a vibration at freeway speed. Can you have someone ride in the bed of the truck and listen while you drive in a parking lot at low speed doing figure eights?
