Straight and to the point!  Rewiring my three gauges.  Just wanted to see/hear what people have setup for getting their sensor wires past the firewall.

As for my ISSPro EV2 I've routed through the firewall at the main loom slit the rubber boot and went through to the engine bay. Fuel pressure and boost pressure are at my ABS module. EGT routes along the cowl to the manifold.

I ran the thermo couple wire across the cowl and in thru the hole everything else goes in. I ran the tranny temp wire in thru the hump at the gear shift and mounted both of the "whatcha macallits" that send the signals to the gauges under the plastic trim for the shifter. Both my gauges are on the center of the dash at the windshield. I routed from there around the end of the dash and tucked the wiring down in between the dash and wind shield. Pretty convoluted way for the EGT gauge but not bad on the tranny temp. It would have been easier to put a hole in the dash, just cant make myself do that even now that it is near 6 years old. 

 

Basically with the a pillar I did the same as @dripley where the a pillar ran over the top of the factory trim. Sandwich style then the wires dive past the headlight switch. The sensors are on a custom fitting bracket and tubing to the tap point. This makes for easy testing. I really didn't want to drill holes in my trim back in 2005 when I installed my gauges which was DiPricol back in the day. Now ISSPro EV2 now.

Awesome.  Thanks!  I'll try the main harness grommet this time.  Is it a tight fit?  I suppose it's not.  I think that's what swayed me away from doing it the first time.  Was worried I'd be slitting into something and it may not end up working in the long run.

Hmmm.... High idle kit, gauges, Quadzilla power, themometer, etc pass through that boot. Most likely more but forgot what.

There is plenty of room in that grommet to grow with. I still have room for whatever.
