I just recetnly installed a new lift pump in my truck. I put in a FASS DDRP. My fuel pressure at idle with the stock fuel pump was about 13psi. After putting in the fass it jumped up to about 20psi at idle. My question is do I need to be concerned about the fuel pressure being this high? Will it damage the injection pump? Do I need to turn it down or just leave it where it is? I was just worried because I've heard some people say that high fuel pressure can damage the VP44.Thanks for any help or suggestions.Mike

Thanks for the help. I appreciate it. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing any damage with the fuel pressure that high. I've heard from others that use the FASS DDRP that it actually loses pressure in the first year or two. I guess it will be coming down some with age.
