Does anyone have one of these trucks that can help me out with some measurements and answer some questions? 

im trying to find out what the rear frame and rear axle differences are with my 3500 PU to see if I can use a set of bags I can get ahold of. (I'd test but they are out of state)

I know the axle and frame is narrower than mine but is the frame C-channel different? Are the axles just narrower versions of the stock dually axles with the same size axle housing tubing?

I'm unsure, but I thought with it came to the second generation they were the same minus the bed?

I'm unsure what to make of this, but if that is true you can totally as in a huge fuel tank behind the bunk. It would be interesting.

The bigger fuel tank would be fun, I think the wife would kill me if I kept up my only stopping to fill up act!

I have a c&c 3500 found out the hard way... bought it with a flatbed, sold that, bought a long bed and come to find out it's a c&c. About 6"-8" longer lol... years ago and past that so.....

It's in my shop so I can take measurements or pics if needed, just give specifics.

Out of curiosity, do you do hotshot work, or something that requires a C&C?

Thinking of getting into hotshot work when I get out of the navy, even if I don't the bags would still be nice cause I'll finally have enough time off to take the mud truck south. But no C&C just a regular pickup.

The reason for the post is I can get a set of bags off a C&C, but the person no longer has the truck to take measurements for me so I'm trying to save some money by not shipping just to find out they don't work.

I would be interested in knowing more about what you've discovered in your searches about this. I'm also looking into doing this with my 99 as well. Nothing forever but i needed a break from driving a semi truck in NYC all the time.

If those bags don’t work out for you I’ve got a set from a 98 24 valve 3500. I’ll make you a deal.
