February 2, 20196 yr Author Yeah I used my fingers (3 fingers) from the bump to the axle. I was concerned the springs were getting weak.
February 2, 20196 yr I really dont know how much travel there should be. But I suspect a liitle sagging has been going on over 17.5 years I have been driving it.

I guess the function of those is to keep from bottoming out the shocks and over taxing the springs. I can't recall ever encountering a bump big enough to hit them...even when I was at stock height.
