Opinions about 60/60/16 holset hx40 super with 7x.011 injectors??? Trying to find good starting point for Quadzilla to start a tune. Does hx40 make enough air for these injectors?

Yes the turbo will work.

Use my old tunes as a starting point.  They we're using 7 x .012's with a he351ve

Thanks again!! Hard to find info here in Finland! Big thanks to all people maintaining this forum!!

Super 40 is a decent turbo.  60mm with 16cm turbine.  Its a bit slow/lazy, but will support 450-500HP

consider it a little less than 62mm cast for peak flow and a litle slower to spool and convert/ base your tune on  someones existing tune with 62mm turbo or start from scratch.

Sure it will work but there certainly are better options out there for turbos.  Towing with it will not be fun.  If you don't tow with it you'll probably be disappointed in the spool up for the size it is.  You'll smoke up the road a good bit before it lights.

I don't know your financial situation but I would only run it if it were given to me and didn't have any other options currently.  Otherwise I'm buying a 62/68/12 and getting the best of both worlds...spool up and power.

the hx40 wouldn't be my first choice, but it does flow enough air to keep the 7 x .011's perfectly happy.
