So Im having trouble with my rebuilt 48RE transmission to go forward or backwards.  I got a shift linkage ordered and on the way just need of yalls input on what do yall think could be my problem.

Time to tag @Dynamic he would know exactly what to do.

Transfer case in neutral? 

I think there is a wavy snap ring that when it breaks, you loose movement. 
low on fluid?
