just recently swapped an auto for a nv4500. truck still runs, but occasionally will coast then surge ahead with a jolt. I have had it to the dealer and a private shop to have the ecm and pcm re-flashed, niether place could do it. Any ideas or will I have to buy a reman or junk yard computers?

You might try Cummins, Dodge dealer, or a junkyard. Also might try Ebay and maybe even give Jacob at DieselAutoPower a call.:thumbup2:

i don't know how the anti-stall works. i would think that if you can turn high idle and 3 cylinder idle on with a DRBIII tool, maybe you could turn the anti-stall off. if you could find a stealership that has a DRBIII and who is cool enough to try?

I know Smarty has done this with several HPCR ECM's, see if Bob can help you.
