Okay so I’m a dummy. It ended up being a bad solder on my part from w-t wire mod. Bumpy road caused ground wire to detach. On the road again!

  • Glad you are back on the road. Its tuff being a dummy. We all know the feeling.

Fuel pressure? Fuel getting to the VP? Fuel getting to the injectors? Fuel in the tank? Cam sensor could be bad but would expect a code. WTS light coming on at key on? It is warm out so it wont be on for but a second. Double check your harness connections since you just installed a new ECM. It is a bit of a guessing game with no codes. What did you use to see if there were any?

Check for power going to your fuel pump. I have a fass..not sure if Air Dog is the same, but when I turn my key on and bump the starter but not start it, my fass pump kicks on and primes. That's the first thing I would do. Once you eliminate that as a possibility, check for air in the fuel. I'm not entirely sure how to go about doing that other than spinning the fuel filter off of the Air Dog pump and literally looking in the filter. If it's even remotely not plumb full of fuel, there's issues.

I hope some others chime in and send suggestions. I'm not too good at this stuff unless I'm there in person looking at it.

Hot wire the injection pump.  If it starts and runs then look to the ECM or power to the VP, or...
