Its me again. Ive been restoring the front of the truck so I've run into a lot of questions 

My current problem (besides my headlights) is that my front bumper is sagging.

I bought all new plastics and chrome bumper besides the brackets. My old bumper lined up fine, besides being a rusted mess.

The passenger side of my new bumper sags and also it seems my bumper isn't seating all of the way back and not lining up with the fender.

Any tips for this?

Can't help you on your question of a saggy bumper.

But those tow hooks look good...

Happen to remember where you got them?

Ha, I found them on a dodge at the local pull apart. Then had to buy the lower valiance that has hole for the tow hooks off lmc truck

I ran into this issue several year ago with a new aftermarket bumper. It just seemed that the covers were either too small or the bumper too big. Where did you happen to source the parts other than the lower valiance?

 

From your picture, it looks as though the top cover isn't sitting all the way down. There is also a pin that locks the fender liner, top, and bottom together that I cant tell if is in or not.

I sourced all new parts from lmc truck. Everything on the bumper is new from them besides the brackets.

The right fender plastics wouldn't seet together for some reason. 

The fender liner pins arent in, and i don't think they would line up anyways since the bumper isn't all the way back under the fender. ??

I have a completely original and intact bumper that I pulled off a while back with all its covers still on it sitting in a parts pile. I'll take some measurements in the light tomorrow and see if it is actually dimensions that are off or what. Get a starting point anyway.

This is helpful. The passemger side top cover wouldn't clip down all of the way over the middle grey plastic, so realistically it should be raised MORE on the side that's sagging. I dont think it's the plastic that the issue, but the way the bracket is sitting in the frame. I know that there is some play in the holes where the brackets go into the bumper, so i might try to raise the bracket on the passenger side to offset this sag? IDK, it's weird that my old broken one that was missing plastic had good fitment, but this one doesn't.

I haven't had the best of luck with the with the reproductions. LMC is supposed to be near factory fit. I couldn't get the last ones to clip in to be proper fit without the clips breaking.

Same actually. I had to force some bolts and hammer in clips. Which is crazy considering the prices they charge.

The lower plastic that fits tow hooks was 120 dollars...

Out of curiosity, is there any adjustment in the bumper mounts left where they attach to the frame?

Yes. I was just under a customer's truck doing headlight replacement and had to pull the bumper slight to get the headlights out and the new ones in. I used a floor jack to the center of the bumper to pick up the weight of the winch bumper and got the fender and light gap fixed again. Looks good. There is a good inch worth of swing up and down you can play with. If you need to snug the bolts and use jack to do the lifting motion without it falling or shifting on you. Then you can remove the jack and tight everything without the jack in the way.

I was trying to push the bumper in all of the way while my brother tightened the bolts and it still sticks out for some reason.

Makes my truck look like those awful 4th gen bumper swaps.

I think somethings jacked with the mounts

Nope. The bumper I was working with was a thick steel winch bumper. I just lifted with the floor jack a bit of pushing and pulling to line up but, easy as pie push the bolts in by finger.
