Posted January 22, 201114 yr Has anyone here had any experince with the lock n stitch method on repairing a 53 block? I have some ideas of just brazing it and then use there bracket to help support the block.I have no idea how much the lock n stitch is cost wise.
January 28, 201114 yr They are just as strong down low the reason for more cr.s is they fail injectors more often and it can be undetected and misdiagnosed and ran for a long time and that causes melted pistons and scored cylinders quite often. I know of many with bad injectors that had only a surging cruise control as a problem. Yeah and if u want another reason for sticking with the vp44 ... Go check out the price on a set of performance CR injectors *ouch*
