i received my tow mirrors today and my question is, do i need the brackets you see for sale? they did not come with my mirrors. i am putting them on my 01

Yes, they will vibrate bad without them and could possibly mess your doors up. I just saw someone on CF with a set for sale yesterday.

thanks for the reply man. i should have just look closer before posting because in the bottom of the box was a piece of paper stating i would need them with part numbers and all lol. but i really appreciate the fast reply

when I did mine I found the brackets cheapest on ebay, think was like $28 shipped for a pair last summer.

I take it your truck does not have them already. If it does they are already on the truck.

or you could fab some up..... what i did out of some scrap diamond plate aluminum only took 30 mins for both sides and they work great! GL
