Just thought I would let yall know that I installed a FTE resonator RM4430A on my 2001 3500 with 4" straight thru with 5"elbow to 8" miter cut stack and it is well worth the money!!!!:hyper::woot: I honestly thought I liked the sound without it, but traveling over 100 miles a day towing our company trailer the dreaded drone got to me.:ahhh: I can finally talk, hear the radio(without turning it way up!), and hear myself think!...lol By the way I am no sales person for them, but had to give them credit where credit is due.:thumbup2::thumbup2:

I have thought about putting one in my exhaust too. I have one setting in the garage from a 6.7. I just saw your location, you should come to the pulls sometime. We just had one in your neck of the woods, Ocala and Zellwood not to long ago.

I told a guy at work about them and he put a long one on his 03 with 5" exh and he says it is too quiet now, I heard it on high idle the other day and it was fairly quiet, I want to put one on my 05 in place of the catalytic converter.

I like mine as well... towing... 36 X 4" It's still not quiet. It has swirl vanes in it but no baffles per say. I should have put it on when I did the exhaust in the first place.

Its not quiet like a car muffler. You can still hear a rumble.

I had a short one on my 02 with a single 4" stack and it took the drone out but was still very loud, I think the long one would be perfect on a normal exhaust to keep things nice and tolerable for long trips.
