The Comp adds timing + fuel. Smarty gives you the option of timing + fuel, or just fuel.Stacking them adds the fueling and keeps the Comp timing.Read the back of the Smarty. It should have the info you seek on which CATCHER levels don't add timing. From what I understand, you can't separate the timing & fuel on the comp, so you are stuck with the comp timing.

Yes, if you only want timing on the tst then run the smarty on even# settings. I have always heard about to much timing being bad but I believe the vp can only go up to 24 degrees of timing anyway so I doubt there is any real danger in running both with timing. My puller buddies run 30'ish degrees of timing on p-pumped 24v and 12v trucks.

i keep getting mixed answers if the comp adds timing or not its really  some say yes others say no lol

Your right:doh: I was thinking edge comp, the tst is a fuel only box so you want to run the smarty on odd numbers.

I was under the impression you ment Edge Comp also. Punctuation, minimal abbreviations, and sentence structure is your friend when it comes to forums.

sorry lol thats what i thought in the beginning only fuel gottcha!! well i shall be receiving my tst mp3 comp in the next week or so:hyper: i will let ya'll know how it works thanks a bunch fellas

Tst is fueling only Smarty will add timing on odd numbers Basically you can run it any way you want as only smarty is adding timing Should be an awesome stack

ya i was really impressed with the tst pm3 smarty stack but as most of us go through i wanted more after a while so i sent it back to get reprogramed for the comp 180 horse tune:hyper:

A few years ago, I had my 24V, ran an Edge Comp/TST Comp stack...it was downright scary! (in a good way). The TST Comp on level 6 at least as far as the seat of the pants went was almost comparable to the PowerMax 3 on LVL 9. It definitely changes the fueling curve, much more aggressive, and being able to run the Smarty, as opposed to the Edge, having more timing adjustments, definitely will help out quite a bit. It's a great stack, the TST Comp is really going to be a fun mod.

sweet im really excited to get that thing back in the truck:ahhh: i miss it lol i feel like my truck is gutless without it lol

Just got mine back from being upgraded to comp. pretty hot and aggressive ... But in running it stacked with edge and smarty

how do you triple stack?

Piggybacked on the map sensor Tst fuels Edge timing and guages Smarty CAN fueling and apps torque management

is the edge timing better than the smarty?

NoNo reason to do a triple stack like me except I'm testing if I'm going to get rid of the CtS and go with TST. I'm just running the CtS for guages really right now ... Think in going to sell the tst tho.
