If you get an email from Mike about a lost member, delete he email, delete the mail in your conversation area, click on the forums tab and then click on the 'View New Content" tab to clear this up.

Avalanche training...as in setting off controlled avalanches? Or more on the rescue side of things?

I saw one avalanche several years ago up near my moms cabin in Wyoming. We were a ways away from it, just so happened to be in a good position to watch. It looked small from where we were, but rode in closer on the snow mobiles and realized how massive it really was. They can really cause some serious destruction. It certainly gained my respect and fear of them.

Hits close to home, 5 people from my area went missing while snowmobiling Thursday in Wyo.

Family reunion at Mike's house. Raffles for his truck at noon.

And a 5 minute shopping spree in his shop. All you can fit in a shopping cart.

Mighty Mouth (Michael) called and they are making their way off the mountain now.  Training is complete.  Has been snowing all night and all day here.  Very glad they will return in about 3 hours.  The snow is going to slow them down a bit.  Love Moparmom
