Hey I've got a question about prefilling filters whether they be fuel or oil. What about the unfiltered oil/fuel that enters the engine? Any concern here? Not sure if this is the proper thread for this question:shrug:

Actually a good question... If pre loading a stock filter housing its best to have the filter in place to be sure no trash enters the system... As for the oil filter you must be careful because anything that enter the center hole goes directly to the bearings and oil jets...

I personally don't prefill any of my filters. I cycle the lift pump a few times for fuel and just start it for oil. The oil pressure alawys comes up faster that it does with its 30* outside, so I am not worried. (My oil psi sender is on the driver side of the block by the ECM, so it wont show pressure until the block has full pressure).
