I got a vehicle in the shop today that was a wiring nightmare. Easy fix but talk about "How not to wire a truck".

The owner works for the local EMS services so I'm assuming most of this was for light, radio, etc. No. I didn't go digging to figure it all out I just needed to re-crimp the master power lead for the truck to start. Nothing was fused every thing was hooked directly to the battery. Kind of scary.

Kinda looks like my JEEP before I started making the wiring right...

I just took the old "sound system" some kid put in my new pickup. They jumped off the speaker wires by stripping the insulation and wrapping wire around tge exposed wires then taping them together

I guess I'm not much better.  I had this battery laying around and didn't want it to go to waste so I'm floating it until I need it in something else.  Ran wires all the way back through the trim above the doors.

I did put a fusible link on the positive so maybe I'm a little better lol.
