I just got another plugin for the site. This time after talking with people and other admin's I opted for the Garage feature. So for not a whole lot of money I purchased and install it to the site. This will take care of the...

 

Signature problems - Now you can get all you mods and stuff listed in the garage and keep it up to date.

 

Truck Of the Month - Now we'll have a place to gather up trucks and votes for them again. This suppose to have a featured vehicle feature so I'll get busy on that too.

 

Members vehicles / RV's - Now that forum can be removed and use the garage feature now.

I noticed you've not added your truck to it? What's up with that?

Added my truck , now if I can figure out how to load a picture. Lol

Really simple.

 

See the plus sign to the right of "image" hit that plus sign.

 

 

Now select which picture you want to  add and where its suppose to go. You can put up multiple vehicle or multiple modification pictures if need be.

Fixed. I'm still working on finding the shortcut for the garage on the mobile side.

Come on guys post up your vehicles with pictures and list your mods then show off your mods with more pictures. I want to restart the truck of the month contest again. Since now we have a good platform to build from why not? So more you post up the more we have to work with. On the main page on the side bar will be the featured truck of the month.

 

Then we'll also have the history of all the featured vehicles too.

Another feature I'm working at as quickly as possible. Every vehicle that is created should now create a thread in the Members Ride forum. Then discussion of the said vehicle can continue with the owner. There is a few of you that have been omitted from this feature including myself so give me some time I'll get the forum permission corrected in the next few days. It will create the first post for you but you won't be able to replay nor others.

Come on people I'm getting tired of looking at my own truck. I need some people to become available with pictures and modifications so I can get a TOTM going again.

Nope... You gotta upload photos. At least one photo for the vehicle and suggesting at least one photo per modification. Photos have to be re-sized to 1024x1024 or smaller and 500kb or smaller. It doesn't allow linking to outside URL's. This is a good thing because then all photo remain here on the site and never get lost.

 

I'm trying to get away from TinyPics now but places like CF I still use it. I'm now looking into the photo gallery here to resolve that issue too.

 

To add a picture...

 

Click the green plus sign next to images.

 

Then select vehicle or modification.

 

Notes

Remember photos have to be 1024x1024 or less and 500kb or less.

Select you picture file and upload...

 

(Opps I see there is a artwork issue!)

As for adding modifications to the list...

I'm glad you show that to me mine show text links there I assumed its designed that way hang on I'll fix...

I would suggest if your not planning on selling your vehicle not to post a price. But now if you are planning on selling you could add a price and then post the vehicle link in the classifieds.

Just got my truck and tent trailer all set up in the garage. It does take a few minutes to go through and enter all of the info though. Basically just fill in the blanks on the first page. Like it says, that comment box on the first page is not for modifications!! That is just an area for some general info on your vehicle. OE options and stuff like that. You can add some pictures in at the bottom there. Then save/create your vehicle page. Now there will be a "modifications" tab at the top of the page. Click on the little green plus sign next to it. Now you can add info about your mods just like you did to set up the vehicle. Just fill in the blanks and add some pictures if you want to.

 

Note: You only do one mod per modification post. Dont try to do all of your mods on one page. That way when you are all done they will come up in a nice list and people can pick one mod to look at. After you save/create each mod, just hit that little green plus sign again and add your next mod.

 

Like I said before, it does take a few minutes to finish everything up. I think it looks/works very nice when it is all finished though.
