  1. I would love to but the dealer said if I delete it, then my power train warranty is void...that bites.
  2. Hi I bought the track the end of the summer of 2013. Its a nice rig but the milage bites. Right now in the cold weather the milage empty is 21.7 L/100KMs or 10.9 MPG Canadian.
  3. Mileage? BAD haha Right now in our Ontario winter, 20-21 L per 100 Kms. OUCH!!!
  4. I will wait till the warranty is up then do the best delete at that time.
  5. Sorry bud, I have not got a clue. I will ask a friend about this.
  6. All info, opinions and points are welcome. This forum is great and I love to chat with my southern neighbours.
  7. Thanks for the history lesson...haha I owned a 93,03 and now a 12 CTD. I do love them. The truck has a OEM paper filter already (obviously) so since I don't know of a better filter I will just leave it.
  8. Thanks again for the input. It seems the 6.7 is not as friendly as my 5.9L. So.....if I was to do something to my truck for performance/mpg, start with a tranny software upgrade??
  9. Thanks Millco! I will stay with paper and the factory OEM box then. I guess a Mopar paper filter is the only one I can use basically anyways.
  10. Ok thanks again. I will hold tight till warranty is up. 5 yrs of 160k. My 10 year old 5.9 only has 180k on it still so I guess 5 years lol. After that I will look at deletes etc maybe. Seems like a 6.7 is a big powerful engine waiting to give more. haha
  11. Ok....sad but if I have no choice but that. :wow:
  12. Ok thanks alot. I will stay stock. Its only got 2000 k on it anyways..haha Any advice on any aftermarket stuff that is warranty safe to start to freshen it up for mpg and stuff?
  13. Ok any thoughts on a good flowing and good filtering// air filter for my 2012 6.7?
  14. I got the 2012 with 410's. Got a great deal on it.Love the truck. Harder on fuel to start around town then the 03, 5.9 but same on the highway on a cpl hr trip.
  15. HelloI was reading the threads about Fuel Additive but wondered if anyone had any new stuff or thoughts on it. For a 2012 6.7. My 2003 ran great on stanadyn and 2cycle oil awesome but it had no egt etc.
  16. Let us know how you make out Hubert!
  17. Ok good specs. Thats what I meant by having 3.73s or something instead of 4.10s. Maybe I am confusing them or something. I thought 4.10s were lower gears which means higher revs. But if you put bigger tires you can change the ratio a tad ie lowering the 4.10 say to 3.73is etc. Anyways, I am going to call dealer today and see if they can go any lower. The truck is 65k sticker and they want 51.
  18. Ok thanks Mopar. I keep hearing mixed stuff online but know 4.10 is fairly low. Just no other options on the lots so its either buy one or forget it. I was reading alot about oversized tires making the 4.10 more rev friendly so I thought maybe it would compensate.
  19. Ok I really dont tow hardly ever. But love the look and bounce of the 35 ATs. I just wanted my best mpg I can get out of the truck as it is a big expense over the years for fuel etc. - - - Updated - - - But just running some numbers, with whats left for 2012's (only a few) I save 15,000 plus tax= savings $17,100. Guess that would buy a lot of diesel fuel, thinking about it.
  20. Are 4:10s too low? Ie too high rev? For summer I will put on my 35's.
  21. Looking at some left over 2012's right now will let you know. The price keeps dropping..haha sweeeeeeeeet.
  22. Anyone have any REAL world MPGS on the new 6.7???
  23. HiAnyone have the new 2013 with the increased horse power and the new tranny? 385 hp @ 2,800 rpm 850 lb-ft @ 1,600 rpm (Aisin AS69RC trans)Also, I do not do very much towing at all. I normally always run empty etc. What would the best rear end gears should I get to maximize my mpg?:cookoo:
