  1. :cool:The reason I said its probably not worth it was, no one could really say they felt any difference in egt temps or power or milage.
  2. Yes ball joints are a pain to do. But I have replaced mine and other peoples in my home shop. (just a shop in the barn) and have always got them off. Head always makes it work.
  3. I already have TST max chip. It works great!! I was just wondering how effective a horn or a cfm was with the exhaust, and tst chip combined with a horn is all. Sounds like its not worth bothering.
  4. Roger that Mopar and dorkweek. All good so far and tag voltage is prob 5.5 or less and my voltage is 4.97 all is good truck works great. 250 plus tax fix compared to dodges 800 plus tax and 250 plus tax and shop stuff to put on at dealer...yikes...
  5. Thanks alot of the new info!!!
  6. Very kewl.Too bad the videos are no longer available on the link.
  7. Just a FYI if anyone is doing the APPS on the 2003 HO. And also for magical dorkweed haha. I spoke to the local Cummins mechanic (who also has 3 cummins pull trucks and does all the local cummins mods here). He said if it is working without a voltage change on the apps, LEAVE IT AS SUCH!! As long as the tranny is shifting properly. Just a FYI:hyper: p.s. magic is the art of producing a desired effect or result through the use of incantation, ceremony, ritual, the casting of spells or various other techniques that presumably assure human control of supernatural agencies or the forces of nature.[1] Magic has been practiced in many cultures, and utilizes ways of understanding, experiencing and influencing the world somewhat akin to those offered by religion, though it is sometimes regarded as more focused on achieving results than religious worship.[2] Magic is often viewed with suspicion by the wider community, and is commonly practiced in isolation and secrecy.[3]
  8. Thanks Jim. Mine is still stock. I know it wont be a huge change but still looking for a bit of mpg/hp/torque. I see lots of ppl here in there stats show cfm+. Figured it would be good to tap into people who already have bought one. But haven't heard anyone who has one yet.
  9. I would say boots on pipes too. I had this a few years ago on my 03 HO. I repositioned and re tightened and it was fixed.
  10. Thanks Mopar. I am going to pull the batteries for 30 mins and do a retrain of the pedal. I am going to leave the voltage as is to do the old "if its not broke dont fix it" haha
  11. Ok thank you. Weird though, my amsoil engine oil always out pours in -30 Canadian winter then all the reg oil I have.
  12. haha thanks for.....nothing I guess..haha Anyone else have a real answer? I am going to take it for a test drive, then calibrate it and see what the difference is.
  13. HiI was thinking of using amsoil synthetic 2 stroke. Any thoughts? I dont see it on the chart to compare the numbers.
  14. Anyone try the CFM+ intake manifold? http://www.cfmplus.com/cfmplus_59prod_09.html
  15. Hi.Just put a new APPS in my Dodge Ram 2003 HO. Its NOT a timbo (I am from Ontario Canada) but one that is meant to go on the truck. My voltage was set from factory at 4.97 volts DC on the blue wire which I thought was the one. Thinking now outload obviously that is NOT the idle voltage..haha. I did NOT change the voltage yet (and NO there is NO voltage stamp or tag on back). The guy I got it from said to change the voltage to .55 for idle. My question is this. I started truck and reved it up and it idles good, and revs good. Can I just leave it and drive it around and if it stays ok, leave it?
