15 seconds clears up on idle then once warmed up no smoke while driving either. Not even totally warm just couple minutes of driving even. Not that I’m aware of for pop testing. Have to start calling around to see.

Thanks for the heads up. I only have the edge cts but its reads 22 on idle and 20 on WOT. I know they are not very accurate but being around 20 it must be over 14 at least. Also running the fass 150

I definitly dont want to maintain a 4th gen. it would just be nice to have the cab space with two kids. One nice thing about our 2nd gens is the parts to seam to quit abit cheaper.

Its a stock replacement from BD diesel. Ya I would love to get my hands on a 4th gen crew cab long box. There is a nice 12 close to me just dont have the cash. Want this one to last me a few more years yet. Not a good time for my VP to be taking a s**t

Ok, I understand that if I have that code it will be the pump. But I’m not 100% that the 0216 was the code that was with the 500 code. It may have been the 1693. The 0216 should come pretty quick tho if thats what was there before right?

Ok great link thanks. I have to see if any codes come back. I just checked again and still nothing from the last few days. If i dont get the 0216 code do you think my issue could just be injectors. Like maybe a sticky one or something?

Whats the most reputable place to buy a pump? mine is tapped and if I remember correctly I can’t use it as a core??

Thats no good. I only have about 70k on that pump. Running two stroke the hole time. So this thing is just going quit one day then. The last one was at 117k and got the dead peddle.

Yes 0216 and 0500 i had a bad abs sensor changed and cleared codes they have not returned yet. I jave read that 0216 may have to do with the VP:(

Mostly white, a little blueish while driving it till temp. I do run two stroke aswell.

Hey guys, So the truck will let out huge cloud if sitting for a few days. Clears up to just a little haze right away. Idle for a min then driveaway smokes till the truck is warm. Then gone and cant make it smoke and runs to what I think is perfect. If ran everyday the first startup puff of smoke is small but still smokes till up to temp. I have ran a bottle cleaner with little inprovement. Have been reading for awhile on line now with out any great success. Thinking hoping only injectors cause I wouldnt mind upgrading anyway. Anyone have this same problem.

I'm running Amsoil 15-40 heavy duty full synthetic oil in my truck, and super tech 2cycle in the fuel. would the conventional super tech oil have any effects with the synthetic amsoil?

Fass 150 in my truck. only bought the truck coupe months ago but the gentle men that owned the truck said that it was installed about 60,000km before I bought it. I have put over 10,000km on the truck already, so its at around 70,000 km and no hiccups yet. I also hold 22psi idle and have never dropped below 19psi wto even with the attitude on 5x5. just my

Mike, how do you hook up when your doing your coolant flushes? Being as I just bought my truck at Christmas and I'm not sure how long it has been since a flush so I would like to do one. I will also be pulling the rad at the same time to clean the oil slug from the fins. Gotta love the old puke bottle what a mess. Got your crank case vent mod on now and its working great. once its warmer out it will be time to clean the after math of the puke bottle tho.

was the truck in running condition before starting these projects? How come your trying to prime the system if your not ready to start the engine? more then likely you will need to run the engine to finish the prime and have it run smoothly.
