Hello all, Fron Syracuse, NY
Sounds like you may have a sticky regulator control, it should build pressure and shut off till it hits it's minimum then start compressing again. Possibly the pressure sensors for max/min air are shot or gummed up.

No Dash Lights
Not sure if it matters but it's my gauge cluster lights and heater/ac control lights. headlight switch lights work lol. Ive done a quick inspection on the wiring and connectors. I've heard that when the headlight switch shorts out internally, stuff like my issue occur. Was hoping someone had a similar issue to guide me lol. Don't want to buy a new switch for no reason.

Headlight upgrade
I bought the same lights you had, I installed em and they looked great till I turned em off. The passenger side halos stayed on even with the lights off. I rewired to make sure everything was right, same outcome. Turned out that the halo housing was shorted to power so they were lit 24/7. Worst lights Ive ever bought and never will I buy them again nor would I recommend them to anyone, lol. Sport conversion sounds like the way to go!

Hello all, Fron Syracuse, NY
Mike, What is the pop off pressure? Does it "sneeze" as you say at about 120 psi? Also how long does it take for it to pop off and does it it drop a lot in pressure while running? When does it usually pop off, idling, driving down the road, or WOT?

Question on gauges???
They look sweet but I'm more of the black out look lol. But looks are definitely not a deciding factor.

Question on gauges???
I'm thinking for now, I'm gonna get my egt, trans temp and fuel pressure gauges. That way I've got my basis covered and can monitor them now. After the G56 6-Speed swap I'll look into a tuner/computer aka EdgeCTS possibly. Thanks man. - - - Updated - - - I'm looking at the Isspro EV2 gauges. They aren't bad in price and Ive read some pretty good reviews. What are you guys running? And what would you recommend?

Question on gauges???
Hmm that sounds pretty simple and pretty awesome. I'm leaning towards that but at 1000+ bucks, I can't see it happening any time soon. I got a stock 47re with 185k on er about to pop lol. Thanks for the info though, it is very helpful.

Question on gauges???
That makes sense too. I'm gonna look around and see what's what, ya know. Thanks - - - Updated - - - So you rock gauges and the tuner? How confusing is it when your driving or is it stay pretty simple? I'd hate to be massively distracted with some tuner thing staring back at me my whole trip lol!

Question on gauges???
I've thought about the rear end as well but I'm not too sure I'm gonna worry too much. You're idea with the toggle switch is clever and may borrow that idea from if I end up doing anything with the rear diff. - - - Updated - - - That was my next idea, if I'm gonna start to monitor everything, I might as well drop the coin :spend:and get a computer/tuner/screen and have em all in one. Now I've got some more thinking to do, lol!

Question on gauges???
Anyone who has a steering column gauge pod, could you share some pics? Also how much of a blocker is it of your gauge cluster/instrument panel? Thanks - - - Updated - - - Your using these to run your power/ground lines I take it? Just get the opposing end to attach to the gauge and such? - - - Updated - - - Those are sweet! A very pricey alternative. But I like the trans temp/ rear end temp combo also lol! It will also allow a lot of monitoring without having gauges every where lol.

Question on gauges???
I'm not a huge fan of the column cover, I've seen a few and block a lot of the gauge cluster. But that is definitely an option.

Question on gauges???
I have a triple gauge pod with speaker hole for my a-pillar. What three gauges should I get? I originally wanted trans temp, egt's, and boost. But I have been reading a lot about how important fuel pressure is to monitor also. What are you guys running? And what is the best combo set up? If I go with all 4 gauges, where would the best place be to placed the other one? Thanks guys.

2013 Ford diesel accidentally put gas instead of diesel......
Had a guy rum 8+ gallons of gas through a three cylinder diesel motor at work. All the seals in the fuel pump were shot, fuel pump its self was shot, but engine was fine. So you might be alright.

Tires: Treadwright
My old man runs BFG All-Terrains on his Chevy 2500 duramax, He got well over 70k outta the last set. That's with towing his 30 Ft fifth wheel camper a few time each year and the boat his hooked up about 90% of the time from April to September. Off-road and on road use as well. Awesome tire. I ran em on my '91 Suburban, 35x12.50r15s, went through a winter never needed 4x4, even when I went boggin' through a field with 3' + of snow! When the Fierce Attitudes I'm running now see the end of their cycle I will be replacing them with BFG All-Terrains.

Jeep overheating, changed everything now what!
I had this issue with my '96 XJ. I did t-stat, water pump (twice) and a coolant flush. I ended up replacing the radiator and flushing the block again. That seemed to do the trick.

Power seat Qs
Before you replace it you should test each function to make sure they work also. Replacing the switch may not cure it if the actual function is not operating correctly.
