Fuel Pressure Indication Increase
The FASS folks indicates I have a ruptured diaphragm. Sent them my serial number to see if the will warranty it. I bought it in 2013 from Geno's. Thanks for all the help.

Fuel Pressure Indication Increase
I sure will give that a try when I get to my place in Kansas later today. I am taking the tools with me in case I have to stop and re-adjust. I am trying to understand exactly where that ball and spring is located. I went to FASS and tried finding that in their tech manual, but it wasn't helpful or I was looking in the wrong place.

Fuel Pressure Indication Increase
I stuck mine in the 65 degree heated shop overnight and 15 hours later the fuel pressure was the same. I wondered if the relief line was frozen.

Fuel Pressure Indication Increase
I just now changed these filters and didn't make any difference on the pressure Thanks for the reply. My pressure line is at the VP44 and the line goes up to the area by the drivers side battery. The readings are good according to the troubleshooting guide for the pressure sender. I adjusted the pump pressure again and have it at about 17.5 at idle. Going to leave it there and see what happens again. I sent an email to Vulcan asking them about the ball and spring for the Fass and they said they didnt have anything for the Fass pump. I will call them. Thanks To be clear, I have the FASS Signature Series (100) 95 gallon per minute pump that is adjustable.

Fuel Pressure Indication Increase
I am going to change the OEM filter and the in line filter before the pump and see if that helps. Last time it didn't make any difference. Thank you!

Fuel Pressure Indication Increase
My fuel pressure has been acting crazy. Started gradually increasing from 16 lbs to 27 lbs. I thought at first that it was due to cold fuel. I live at 9500 ft. Had this system for about 35,000 miles or so. 2001 2nd generation with DDRP Fass 95 mounted near the fuel tank. It did the same thing a while back and I got the pressure adjusted back to where I wanted it. Now I have to try it again. Is it the ball and spring in the Fass pump you think?

I would also be interested in your math for 4.10 ratio to 3.73 with tire change.

Upgrade or Trade
Well, I ended up with what DAP suggested on both the turbo (S300GX-E 57-65-14) and the injectors (7X.0085) along with the Quadzilla and a Dynamic built transmission. Going to take it on a drive today. May or may not hook up the Quad for a while. Appreciate all the advice and suggestions. May be asking about tuning next.

Gauges and big line kit
Appreciate the feedback. That sounds good.

Gauges and big line kit
I have had a big line kit for the filter housing to the VP44 for some time and want to install it. I have 2 “T’s” to splice into the rubber line in order to install the fuel pressure port. One is for the Quadzilla fuel pressure and the other is to the manual gauge on the pillar. Anyone see a problem with having two taps close together on the rubber line? Right now I have the banjo tapped on the VP for only the manual gauge.

Upgrade or Trade
Pulling a 9000 plus pound fifth wheel. EGT gets to 1200 really quick if I dont back off.

Upgrade or Trade
You mentioned a newer generation turbo. DAP quoted the Borg Warner s300g 57 65 14 t3 gated hx40 and 7x0.0085 vco sticks. What is considered new technology? There is many to choose from on the website but I was telling them my use and application, that it has to pass Colorado emissions and has to pull well in the high altitudes. My place is at 9500’. Thanks again

If I keep the hy35 will I still have EGT temps at redline pulling in the Rockies? I have to really keep an eye on those temps with stock settings and the HY35.

Thanks, i'm planning to move to your state and will need to pass emissions. Will that set-up work for that?

Upgrade or Trade
I have had the itch to trade up to a newer model but after talking to several owners of different brands, most say just keep what I have and sink a little money into the 2001. 2001 automatic, HY35, 4.10, 119,000 miles. Driven 10,000 miles a year and retirement coming in a couple of years. Here is my plan so shoot holes in it. BHAF, gated HX40 turbo, 4" exhaust, 75 HP DAP sticks, re-build transmission. I have a Edge Juice with attitude that I might add. Opinions?

Edge Juice with Attitude CTS2??
I have had this programmer for some time and have been reluctant to install it, afraid I might end up damaging something. The truck had a Superchip programmer and I set it back to stock and have been running stock for a while. Towing my camper (9000#) or flatbed (8000# +) is the trucks purpose and I don't drive it like I stole it at all, and was looking at level 2 on the Edge. Any advise from anyone? I have gauges on the pillar for egt, cht, fuel pressure, and tranny temp. I do have plans at some point to have my tranny built up, replace the HY turbo, possibly replace the exhaust, and change injectors. I know many have the Smarty but I already have this one in a box.

What’s it worth?
I found a cherry ‘97 12 valve quad LWB 3/4 ton auto with less than 150k for sale. What should it be worth?

- 47RE fluid temp?
I cleaned the radiators and coolers last fall and just put new belt, hoses, water pump, new coolant and new power steering fluid in last week. Going to do the same with the brake fluid soon. Got rid of the puke bottle. That made a mess of my radiator. - 47RE fluid temp?
