High idle issues
The problem was that I had forgotten that part that you wrote about how the ecm remembers which idle mode it was last on and that it goes back to that until the engine is shut off for a while.

High idle issues
Well today I had time again to work on my high idle fooler and there still seems to be some sort of issue. It will always go to 3 cyl mode even when I have it selected to 6 cyl. I don't have a scangauge to check what temp i'm sending to the ecm but I used an ohm meter to check the resistance and it is at 38.6K for the 6 cyl mode and 55.8 for the 3 cyl mode. Can somebody help me? Well I think I just answered my own question so don't worry about this unless I post again:rolleyes2:

High idle issues
I was turning just the ect fooler on to trigger the 6 cyl idle. I disconnected my IAT fooler and put the factory connector back on the sensor to bypass my wiring in case I had done something wrong. If I understand right fooling just the ect should trigger the 6 cyl high idle because the computer will know that the air temp is above its 3 cylinder parameter.

High idle issues
I wired up my high idle fooler according to moparman's diagram. With the IAT harness hooked back onto the sensor and just the coolant temp fooler on, the engine will still hit the 3 cylinder mode and the temp outside is around 34 degrees F. If I understand the system right this shouldn't be happening at temps this warm. Can somebody give me some ideas?

Help battery acid!!!
I was installing my BHAF today and discovered that one of my batteries had blown up or something (a big piece of the top had broke loose and I could look right inside) and there seemed to be acid splattered all over under the hood:bang::bang: Any suggestions what would be the best course of action to clean this up? I did go to the car wash and washed it off good with soap then rinsed real good.

another code question
I did sort of. Just get that code that you say is a companion code. I've tried a few times and that one comes up so I wait and the odometer readout comes back on without giving any more codes. What does that mean?:confused2:

quad adrenaline question
I was at a diesel shop today and the guy said he'd had customers get dodge to de-activate their high idle because of the 3 cylinder part. Talked about concerns of cylinders running dry etc. Is this a valid concern? Seems to me dodge wouldn't put it in there if it was a problem. I hope it's ok cuz i love the sound of it!

quad adrenaline question
I'm planning on getting a quad adrenaline with pulse as soon as my bank account allows and I'm wondering if the high idle works good. Or should I be doing a manual setup like I found on this forum?

When you guys talk about checking codes how are you doing this? I tried doing a search but didn't get desirable results. :confused2:
