  1. I will do a re learn on the APPS but I can't remember the procedure and can't find instructions anywhere yet:banghead:
  2. I did some tinkering on my truck this afternoon and now it won't start. Got these codes 0123, 1765, 1694. Can someone tell me what they mean or is there a chart somewhere on here that I can look on? The only thing I did that I think could have affected it starting was move the power and ground wires that I had on the battery connections over to the terminals in the PDC. These were power/ground for the Airdog and ground wires for the Suncoast APPS ground; which I wish I'd never done.
  3. You're talking imperial gallons here right?
  4. once you get your fuel pressure gauge in it will most likely tell you what most of us on here already have found out the hard way.. "THE STOCK LIFT PUMPS SUCK":spend:
  5. Relax guys... be glad it's not 4.27 a gallon like it is here:broke:
  6. Well if the EGT's were lower that would surely mean the ECT's would be lower too. Hot coolant temp is what we fight with the most. Working in dusty fields in summer and the rad is always getting plugged making the situation worse:doh:
  7. Thanks Russ. Mine should've been up by the grill but it had come down a long time ago and not knowing what it was or exactly where it should go I had tied it back around the underhood light:doh: I will put it where it belongs and see how it works then.
  8. Where is the sensor located for the thermometer in the overhead display? I can't find it and nor could the 'not so bright' dude at the local dealer. I'm getting quite variable readings and when I got the truck it was bang on so I thought maybe the sensor needed some TLC.
  9. Anybody on here have any experience with Cummins ISX engines? We have one in an 05 IH truck. I've been wondering about doing an egr delete on it. I hear that it really lowers fuel consumption and it runs cooler. Anybody confirm this or know how to do it?
  10. What do you guys think of this stuff? Those hffr tests or whatever they are kind of go over my head so I'm wondering if someone would take a look at this and tell me what you think of it. http://www.ca40g.com/home.php
  11. That is totally awesome! I've often thought about trying that myself.
  12. I did #1-5 then 7 in that order. Mostly because of circumstance and how the funds were available but I'm really glad now that it worked in that order and I'd recommend it.
  13. The ones I did were from Oil Analysis Lab Inc I think. (just got the kits as needed from a local shop) I found them to be interesting but I wouldn't say they were too useful for me.
  14. The overhead was always bang on before I put in the Comp. Would the Comp turned off still affect the overhead? This is country driving but I'd say what I'm doing would compare pretty close with city driving.
  15. I don't want to hijack this but Johnfak I read a post you put in the MPG fooler thread about how you're getting 2-3 mpg less without your Edge juice. How did you do that? I am getting terrible mileage with my Comp. Last tank worked out to 9.8:cry: I am running a tank with the comp off and the overhead is showing 10.9 now. This is getting really hard on the pocket book:nono:
  16. Welcome here and I hope you benefit from this site as much as I have!
  17. I've had very little to do with generators but the ones i've seen have all had a coolant heater running at all times so it's not like they're starting cold.
  18. Ok, so why is that hard on it? I have a rebuilt tranny and different valve body if that makes any difference.
  19. Is there any way to adjust the shift points on a 47re trans? I've thought it would be nice for towing if it would shift sooner and tonight just for kicks i did a couple 0-60 runs and it badly needs to shift sooner for that. It took 10 seconds to hit 60:doh:
  20. Why do you clean them, improved performance or what:shrug:
  21. Well come on over then! Snow is too deep in the fields for the quad to drive so we had to get a snowmobile for checking the cows:ahhh:
