  1. Also, regarding loading a tune on iOS. The easiest way that we have been able to do it is to mail the tune to ourselves. When we opened it on iPhone 4 mail app and then open the attachment we see this: Click on the highlighted icon to open up the sharing button. It will load up options of programs to share to. Like this: When you see that, simply choose the Open in iQuad option and you should be good to go. Update for the iPhone implements a twirly when loading tunes or saving parameters. It will also give the option to reset to defaults if loading tune parameters fail. (i.e. when trying to load a V2 tune to a Legacy tuned Adrenaline it will fail a lot).
  2. App is now updated in the google play store. You should be able to get it from there and have it work just fine. As soon as Apple gets the app reviewed the update will be released to the App store as well.
  3. Yes, Samsung has issues. The app store version of the app still has these issues. You will need to get the latest of the Beta versions of the app (soon to be released to the app store) to have the Samsung issue fixed: http://quadzillatech.com/TunesDownloads/AndroidApp/IQUAD_Android_app-release(1.9.41(61)).apk However, it looks like what you are seeing is something a little different (possibly). If you download a tune for a different vehicle profile on Android, it won't show up in the list of custom tunes, but it still will reserve the name. If you change vehicle profiles to the one that it matches it should show up in that list. On iPhone, it doesn't do this, but it is a problem in that you can activate a custom tune that isn't for this vehicle profile and potentially have mis-matched tuning parameters.
  4. The Quad is done by calculation. Your GPS is probably the most accurate unless going up or down steep hills. Even then, they probably have figured out how to take that into consideration if you have access to more than 4 satellites for your location. What happens in the Adrenaline is that it calculates based off a stock tire size of 95.7" in circumference. If you put in a tire size of 97" it is going to multiply the incoming MPH x (97/95.7) or ~1.014 to increase your speed by a little bit. It will then use that corrected value in calculating gear and transmission slip based off the other drive train info. MPG calculation is going to rely more heavily on the MPG Offset than on the tire size. You will have to calibrate that yourself. Once you start running in wire-tap levels, its more of a hazy general idea than an actual MPG used.
  5. On some phones and tablets, its so big that it covers one of the gauges. We already fixed the gauge size and I have uploaded it here: http://quadzillatech.com/TunesDownloads/AndroidApp/IQUAD_Android_app-release(1.9.41(60)).apk On first test, it seems kind of small on our tablet and just right on my phone. It used to be the other way around, but its all weird now. The landing area is great on both. Its real easy to push the button and get it to work, its just the size of the icon is small on the tablet.
  6. The clear button will clear out any of the data-log stuff, it does not reset the MPG number stuff. IN order to reset the MPG number stuff you have to toggle the MPG offset off and back on again. Its the only way we can get it to reset at this time.
  7. The latest one should be 1.9.41(59). I re-uploaded it just recently to this site and to here: http://quadzillatech.com/TunesDownloads/AndroidApp/IQUAD_Android_app-release(1.9.41(59)).apk I did verify that it works on my galaxy S8, but it failed on the crappy tablet with Mikes issue.
  8. That's not a bad question. The Adrenaline should stay with the tune and power level you left it on. The next time your phone connects to the device it will download the tune again, but won't change the power level.
  9. Well, there's egg on my face. The crappy tablet didn't get fixed. Same issue as before. It never noticed that it was disconnected it just stopped being able to send info. I was doing the first bit of testing on my phone and it worked like a charm. I will look into this some more.
  10. We simulated it in a test environment where we have more control over the timing of stuff. We waited until the tune started loading then disconnected the iQuad. After 10 seconds and a disconnected warning we turned the iQuad and Adrenaline back on. 30 seconds later it connected and started downloading the tune again. There can be up to a 30 second delay between when the truck starts and when the app reconnects, then another 30 seconds or so to download the tune.
  11. Some of it we do. Most app development work is outsourced.
  12. Unfortunately there isn't a real good way to fix that other than removing the data. If you have access to your tunes now you can export them all to yourself, delete the app, redownload (or just clear the data on Android) and re-import your tunes. Again, I'm very sorry I messed this up. Just a quick FYI. I just uploaded a new version of the app that should fix the gear icon issue. Still need to test on crappy tablet, but it works much better on my Galaxy S8. http://quadzillatech.com/TunesDownloads/AndroidApp/IQUAD_Android_app-release(1.9.41(59)).apk
  13. Its not static across the vehicles. You can look at the .json files if you'd like. They are all sourced from http://quadzillatech.com/iquadv2/ Right now there isn't a spot to add any kind of text to explain the tuning variable. It would be multiple levels of change across all vehicles and the app simultaneously. The last time we did this was to enable the equalizer bar (which is really cool in theory and for visualizing your settings). It took a few months of development time splitting between the iquad directory and the iquadv2 directory. After we though we had the bugs worked out we released and then had a storm of tech support inquiries that all ended with (delete the app and re-install). It was kind of brutal frankly. I'm not really prepared to go through that again very soon.
  14. We are very happy with the tuning capabilities that we have so far. It has really changed the game for a lot of people. Regarding the sensors, the kit comes with the EGT probe and trans/oil temp sending unit as well as the hookup for the MAP sensor for reading Boost up to 40psi. The fuel pressure sending unit is the only add-on sensor that doesn't come with the kit. It is something that you should definitely use if you don't already have a fuel pressure gauge that you are monitoring.
  15. Yep, the progress bar is there for tune loading. I though it turned on right away, but apparently sometimes you have to back out to the main screen.
  16. WIth the right name change it should import over. no problem. If you were using the Quadzilla Test Only tune then you will need to export to the computer, edit the name to match, then save it and re-import them.
  17. I agree. You can bring your phone or tablet in to the computer to write a tune while looking at the description. However, that is just a band-aid. If there was a good way to add that information to the custom section of the app we would do it in a heartbeat, but as of now there isn't. -Ninja edit for clarity
  18. Yup, get the latest version of the app.
  19. Thanks for the understanding. Now, regarding the fuel tap settings. While this forum is a great resource and has more information than we do directly on the site, our first reference to customers is always our custom tuning guide found here: http://quadzillapower.com/adrenaline-custom-tuning-guide/#V2Tuning This is a great explanation mostly provided by @Me78569 with some slight editing. Granted, having to read and understand this is harder than having someone explain it in a video. We have always had plans to make a video, we just haven't been able to focus on that. If your questions haven't been answered Ash, just give us a shout and we will explain better.
  20. Again, I am very sorry for completely dropping the ball on getting the name to match up exactly. This is the sequence of events that caused that SNAFU. We've been waitng for a LOOOOOONG time for the developer to get us some cycles to work on the app. There was a memory leak bug that we didn't know about that caused the app to crash when one of the settings in the original version 2.7 was set on the iPhone. We decided that the whole Boost Offset setting was just not worth the effort of making users have to set that before their Adrenaline would work properly so it was removed. This made it so we didn't have to wait for the app development anymore so we went ahead and "released" the 2.7 version to the main stream by simply changing the link from the mainstream to the "Quadzilla Only Test2" .json file. I didn't check the name on the file and simply typed out the change. That is where I messed up. Totally my fault and I will take all the responsibility on that one. Throw me all your angry emojis. I can handle it. Now, all of you that have gone through the painful process of editing all your tunes will get mad again because I just fixed the name and you will have to do it again (I'm sorry).
  21. Honestly, it shouldn't have changed. I will change it back pronto, because that just stinks. Sorry about that. Ok - Renamed back to what it should have been in the first place. Sorry about that.
  22. @Me78569 have you found anything wrong in the last 24hrs? If we can I would like to push the button to get this released.
  23. No, For the Android platform it is now 1.9.41. Probably soon to be release to the play store. http://quadzillatech.com/TunesDownloads/AndroidApp/IQUAD_Android_app-release(1.9.41(58)).apk For the iOS applications it is now 1.9.43 (no real reason other than the IOS has been built more). http://quadzillatech.com/TunesDownloads/iPhoneApp/iQuadIOS(Apple)(1.9.43).ipa
  24. It was originally in the design spec to get to the CCD bus, Most of the cable we find don't have the CCD pins in them though, they are limited to 9 pins and only get 1 of the CCD pins (needs 2). If you get me the source for that cable I can look into getting it supported faster. I will also need to get in touch with Chris O. about his CCD stuff. It looks really nice and we want to be able to support as much as we can.
  25. If you built tunes on the 2.5 profile (the standard V2 Dodge 1998-2002 v2.5) profile then they should still be there when you update the vehicle profile to version 2.7. If you are moving from the Quadzilla Only Test 2 vehicle profile then you will need to export them and edit them then import them again. By the way, the latest drop of the Beta app that I just got today will allow Samsung customer to one again import tunes, AND THE IMPORT BUTTON IS BACK!
