  1. Really not sure, what version of Excel are you running. I've tried it in 2010 and 2016 and both seem to work just fine. I have a bug with iOS imports that needs to be fixed but other than that it seems to be doing just fine. Try downloading the tunebuilder program again and give it another shot. Also, screen shots help me too.
  2. Can you send me your export file that way I can take a look?
  3. So I’m looking for a tan and light green? Thanks again for the help.
  4. I hate to ask this because I know it's floating around somewhere, but I need some direction on narrowing down the blinker wires in the cab. I have a set of 4th gen mirrors from 1A that I'm trying to put on the truck right now and have not had much luck in narrowing down the blinkers. Any help is appreciated. Truck is an 01.
  5. Power is awesome and sometimes I worry with how quick the power comes in. I can tell you that I would not want to drive the truck without the quad pulling the canbus back. Even as it stands with the canbus maxed at 79% I can hit 40-43psi easily which is just about where I want it. If I was smart i would hook up the gate on my turbo but I just haven't felt the need to bother since I can control overall boost with the quad. I'm happy with the performance and you would never know that the truck is running a 240hp+ injector from those videos.
  6. Little update, right now I have the tune almost where I want it just a few more tweaks and it should be perfect. Btw I let off around 70 so not bad all if you ask me.
  7. I've been looking for a while but seems like a lot of the yards over towards Houston are keeping fairly tight reigns on their inventory.
  8. Ha, know of anymore hurricane trucks laying around?
  9. Haha this sounds fun, mabye after I get this tune dialed in lol. It's almost there. I think we made some good head way today but the truck was covered in ice including the mirrors so no telling what was behind me. I have tossed this up time and time again. I think I just need another truck that has an auto already in it haha.
  10. So I would be willing to bet that you will have issues with idle when you step up to the 350 bar. I think the combination of the load as well as the higher canbus signal that will be required to make it stable is going to create swings like we are seeing with a couple of trucks now. I feel that my experience is unique in the fact that I am running a higher compression motor and pump so the idle swings and start issues seem to behave better due to those two things. The idle data is awesome! This is exactly along the lines of what I was thinking and shows the consistent ~2-3% offset with the higher pop pressures. At this 2-3% I think it would be safe to say that the overall volume of fuel is slightly changed but negligible here. So we are fighting two things here (in theory), combustion event and injection event. The atomization is better which could mean that the combustion starts sooner in comparison. So if the injection event is later, but combustion event is sooner we could see the two canceling each other out which is partially why no one has come forward and said that they could audibly hear a change in timing. I know for me I honestly heard no difference and I suspect that there was not. Funny how this lines up perfectly with what we are seeing across the board with Nick's egts.
  11. This ha. I need to find a good starting point for my 0... The bucking is pretty bad right now if I ease into it. 29 degrees the morning, no grids, and no issues starting.
  12. The off idle is just a result of the Quadzilla taking over and pulling the signal down. Not a large problem with smaller injectors but as you pull the signal down more the issue gets worse. I really don't think we have a good fix for it right now.
  13. Lol I’ve had the disease for a while now. Never leaves just comes and goes haha.
  14. None what-so-ever because there is no need. These injectors have plenty of fuel without wire tap.
  15. Initial thoughts: I think with the SAC even at the high bar there is just a certain amount of smoke that we will never be able to clear. I plan to pull back timing reduction to see if that helps and maybe lull the mid range just a little. Most of the smoke is from 5-15psi range so I think if I take a little out of this area then I should be able to clean it up a little more. Starts: No difference here. It should be in the 20s here tomorrow so we will have a good test to see how this has been effected Idle: Is fine, nothing odd or out of place General driving: More power all around from top to bottom. Turbo spool is incredible even under light throttle, huge difference. Overall: Very pleased with the exception of the off idle delay that I'm trying to fix. @Me78569 we have talked about the off idle lull before but I have never had to deal with it until now, any suggestion on making this better?
  16. Little bit of driving. Still working on the tune and I know most of you will wonder why I'm only at 80% here and really I'm just trying to recreate the same "feeling/smoke" as what I saw with the 7x.009s. Even at 80% I am seeing 43-45 PSI so I don't plan to go much further until I can work out the details on compounds or a larger single. (More than likely it will be back to compounds) Fuel Load Timing 1 Low PSI Timing Reduct 4 Timing Reduct Scaling 80 LightThrottle Timing Adv 1 Light Throttle Limit 1 Timing 1500RPM 16 2000RPM 21 2500RPM 23 3000RPM 26 MAX 30 Canbus 0 PSI 65 1 PSI 63 2 PSI 64 3 PSI 65 4 PSI 66 5 PSI 67 6 PSI 68 7 PSI 69 8 PSI 70 9 PSI 71 10 PSI 72 11 PSI 73 12 PSI 74 13 PSI 75 14 PSI 76 15 PSI 77 16 PSI 78 18 PSI 79 20 PSI 80 22 PSI 80 24 PSI 80 26 PSI 80 28 PSI 80 30+ PSI 80
  17. @Dodgeih have you inspected the injector yet to make sure that the mating surface isn’t compromised in any way? If you’ve checked everything else then that’s pretty much the last stop. It’s either that or you’re actual injector line is leaking due to a similar issue. On the haze note, they seem to be very comparable to the .009s I just took out, and better than the previous set of .012s I had from dap. I need to take another video when it’s warm. That was right after the install and there was still air in the lines so might have been part of what we were seeing.
  18. I'll just leave this here. Went for a quick spin and the three tunes I built need a good bit of work so no data or videos for now. More to come hopefully tomorrow.
  19. Very small difference that really would have to be tested on a dyno. After all 2.5% could really just be a change in temperature, ambient pressure, or really anything.
  20. @Me78569 This falls right in line with what we are seeing on your 40 lug data and again disproves the theory that the higher pop results in significantly less fuel being injected. Between comparing overall amount of fuel being injected and atomization efficiency, I really don't buy that the higher pop are having a large effect if any on volume of fuel being moved. I think we would see the opposite here if that were true and we simply don't. This is starting to become very contradictory to previous schools of thought.
  21. Man this is juicy. So just playing around with the graphs and it looks like the rate at which canbus was climbing towards the end of the graph was similar for both of the data logs. This really only tells me one thing; the power towards the end of RPM range is probably very similar (this will be dependent on setup and mainly just at the point where boost builds comes in). Comparing canbus as well I would go so far as to say that peak power is within 5% on both injectors. I know this is not perfect world data and I know we will never obtain that but I am curious if you could redo this graph with the TPS stabs lined up what it would look like. The curve below in yellow is duplicated. Some thoughts: EGTs in the 40 pull are virtually the same with a few minor differences which supports: - The amount of fuel injected by the 330bar injector was minutely less when using the canbus curve as a reference, but with that in mind the event would need to be more efficient to allow for the response seen in boost, speed, and RPM climb. I would go so far as to say that the previous statements regarding less fuel from a higher pop are almost negated with this data. Still needs more proof but overall less fuel could have told a different story here but I don't believe that's the case. In fact after digging a little more I would say we have yet another contradiction to previous statements regarding fuel. Same Rpm, same speed, take a look at the canbus (Green is 305). This is seen with 70% of the data. Still digesting this but this extremely contradicting to previous statements regarding pop pressures.
  22. Considering some of the newer QST30s are rated at 1500hp I would imagine that the pump could flow a healthy amount of fuel but not the amount that I was hearing some people throw out. In our application I imagine it would be on the same level as a vp or maybe a little more in stock form. Even still though, the thought of all the adjustability in a mechanical pump is very enticing. If yall hear of a good deal on a right side pump please let me know. I'm definitely interested.
  23. @Dodgeih Have you tried bumping the timing just a little more in the higher end? I bet you could squeeze a little more out of the tune if you move 2500 - 3500 up a degree. I'm running some fairly aggressive timing right now and no issues. Just a thought.
  24. Dang talk about no smoke at all that's very impressive. Whose 6x.013s did you have previously?
  25. @Me78569 Yes, and wishing I had just a little more info. @jlbayes read about both and Rick's situation sucks but I guess that's life sometimes. Just wish I could get more specs on the pump itself. Barrels, dvs, ccs the pump can put out etc... Everything I have see is mostly word of mouth.
