  1. ya when i have my ac on it causes it to bog down enough it pours out smoke trying to recover and it gets real old as im coasting to a stop im puffing a cloud of smoke out every few seconds or i can kill the ac and its not as exaggerated. im thinking about a momentary disconnect activated by the clutch.
  2. i understand that but im looking for a way around it. if i disrupt the vss signal momentarily would that trick the ecu i was stopped and solve the issue?
  3. valve lash is good. problem stops 100% if i go below ~10mph. seems to be computer related.

The bobbing when i come off throttle and truck is trying to idle is getting worse with the increased temperature outside and when i have my ac on when it revs up it blows quite a bit of smoke out. It stops when i get to a speed less than about 10mph. Question is could i break the vss line momentarily or ground it out to trick the ecm that i stopped and return to a normal idle?

  6. Your a freaking saint for waiting that long. I would of driven down there and seen Danny if I had to wait that long.
  7. Ya I believe you gain a inch of lift if you remove the block when you do the shack flip. I rarely tow and sometimes haul a slide in camper so I'm mainly looking to improve my ride. Also about to try some thuren 3'' coils up front to even it out.

  9. to much fuel coming off idle when your trying to ease into in from a dead stop at like 1-5% throttle.
  10. Smoother but still touchy when going from a dead stop. I think me being so low under the stock fueling makes it hard because if I set it to level 0 it's way better but can get smokey.
  11. That would be nice let me know if I can help. Taking off from a dead stop is a little tricky to not make my truck jump right off the line and make a big black puff.

  13. Dave at dor gave me the run around for four months on some control arms. Nice gear and sad to say I will probably buy from them again but I would make it very clear with them up front about a realistic wait time or only order what they have in stock ready to ship.

  15. what kind of fuel pressure do you have at wot?
  16. and boy does it hard fuel. surprised me the first few times. i did notice it held canbus higher into the rpms i guess thats the hard fuel?

  18. Upon further testing it comes on at 3100rpm every time.

  20. i think what you are seeing is me coming off the throttle. the surge is usually around 75%-80% throttle you can see a spike in the engine load.
  21. Heres some logs of it happening.
  22. I'm been fighting a surge around 80% throttle. Very noticeable 1st-4th almost feels like the wire tap is coming on but I'm at setting 3. I'm trying to get a good data log of it happening.
